PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Message to Contestants "The Biggest Loser""
I just finished watching the episode "let's do the twist". I really wanted to send a message to the players on this seasons show.

I've avoided reality shows like the plague - I have enough reality in life without watching it on tv.

For whatever reason:

* I started watching this program about a third of the way thru season 1 and I've been watching it ever since;

* unlike the team members in the first two seasons I feel for this group.

Members of this group have shown integrity and soul. It was so painful to see Pete voted off the show. It was also wonderful and heartwarming to see his arrival home and the absolutely fantastic total weight loss since he left the competition - because that was important to him.

I cried thru the last half hour of the show - but it was a good cry. The world is changing . . . slowly, painfully, it is changing and it seems that we are finally recognizing what is ultimately more importand than business, than work, than money . . . each other.
