PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

This lady kills me on lasts night episode of wife swap. First of all she doesn't need Jesus, she needs Jenny Craig. She runs around and acts like the one who is possessed. I can understand that she may have a different belief system, but I thought God could only judge. It is very scary to see someone who has so much fear. She needs to get out into the world and experience life. My favorite part was with the dryer. She made her self so upset that she made her self vomit. I know that in my area there is a therapy office with therapists and psychiatrists that are christian, and also know the symptoms of mental illness. I am sure in her community there is the same. She needs to talk to someone. As for the family that must endure her for another week. I can only say be strong and take her with a grain of salt. Can I get an "AMEN" LOL.

What a whack job. It's obvious these people are more nature worshippers than devil worshippers and if she has such strong faith she really shouldn't be so threatened.I remember when I was younger we used to do a similar thing for Guy Fox. Great night out for the kids. It was a blast. She's actually exhibiting more symptoms of possession than those of her new family. By the by, I really loved those gargoyles. >This lady kills me on lasts >night episode of wife swap. >First of all she doesn't >need Jesus, she needs Jenny >Craig. >Pretty ironic that you would title this thread "Judgement" and open with a cheap shot about the woman's weight. > Yes, she is truly disturbed and her beliefs are a perversion of Christianity, but it's a rather obvious distortion and she is not about to be nominated as the poster girl for Christianity. But it doesn't take much effort to bash this woman. You should set your sights on the behavior of her skanky friends who could not even be civil to a non-Christian. That sort of behavior seems to be more prevalent and insidious in Christian communities. It also provides much better ammunition for any Christian-bashers.

Man, between the LA mom and the Weavers, reality-tv Christians are taking a beating. Self-inflicted and in turn, well-deserved, I might add. And What the effing EFF was up with the blonde friend of the LA mom? Effing b!tch! Holy cow. I was spitting angry watching last night. I cannot stand intolerance for a different belief system. I just want to scream 'what makes YOUR way, the ONLY way?' -this is why I stay out of the deep end in OT. I get too riled up and irritated.

I really don't believe people are out to bash Christains, this women set set the stage ,she made her own Christainity out to be a joke, i don't believe she's a God fearing women niether are her friends, they are very judgamenal towards others instead of setting the example of a loving Christain ,they made themselves look like satans kids ,the family from Ma wasn't like that toward her niether was the wife when her friends poked at her for not being a Christain, It's people like this that don't draw people toward the Lord.

Well if you read into this correctly you would realize it is a play on words. And yes, I am taking a "cheap shot" on her weight. Just like every other thread here on this site, everyone is entitled to their opinion. For me it was the icing on the cake with her weight. V.

I do not think that celebrating the earth is opposite of Christ. I think those things can work together. Her friends horrible, who meets someone for the first time gives them the 3rd degree on faith?

Amen, shayshay! What u wrote pretty much sums the whole thing up! I was scared and shaken, but mostly i felt sad by the behavior of the perrin mother and her "friends" and all people like them. True Christains, spritual people, and all decent people of the world regardless would agree. Right on.

Hear, hear! And I think she really did MAKE herself vomit--it looked like all her phony drama-queen retching wasn't doing it so she quickly stuck her fingers down her throat. What a pig, running around letting on that even their appliances were infested with demons and there were bad devil smells (did she watch amityville horror too many times?) that only she could smell, being a righteous woman and all. Doesn't Jesus tell you to pray for yourself, not to impress others with your piousness? One woman in this thread said that Marguerite was right to leave the psychic (a harmless little fellow). Have you noticed that the police employ psychics to help them during missing persons cases? That's doesn't seem very dark side to me, and the pentagram is a symbol for many religions--in fact I'll bet that many a Christian actually puts one on top of the Christmas tree. Such ignorance of others' beliefs is offensive. Most of us had pagan ancestors long ago, who had solstice parties and whatnot--this didn't make them evil. I've gone to seances and church both, and it didn't make me explode. I also don't get the fellow who recapped the show and described Jeanne as "defensive"--how would anyone react when they were right up in her face demanding to know "what exactly" her parents believed and what she believed, and they mocked the idea of a higher power on the assumption that she believed wrong (i.e., different from them and their mindless friends). Why would this be the first thing you asked a person? I know that Fox edits for maximum controversy but there is only so much they can do--these southern belles were out of control. Is anyone as perplexed as I am by the seeming normalcy of the Perrin dad and kids?
