I don't think she had much of a problem choosing someone to go into the guantlet with, I just think she wanted attention, after all once Cara left the spotlight was taken from her. It is weird to see Randy and Kina as an item since he is way more laid back but hey stranger couples have come together. Kina's behavior last night just confirmed why I feel she is so annoying. I am no fan of Jillian, she kind of bothers me too, but she's not bad at the challenges and seems to be more graceful and quicker than Ibis who I feel is the weakest link on the rookie's team. I wonder how much of Kina's choice is going to irritate her team and if they will vocalize how they feel. I honestly didn't want to see the veterans win. I just find them all to be individually annoying and collectively extremely annoying. So, I don't care that they won, but in a way it's funny that they did after all I'm sure Kina wanted that trip and it's probably a blessing that she didn't win it because I wouldn't feel like listening to her gush about it. I was overall surprised that everyone made it across on the balance beam. I figured that walking across a balance beam with lil' blocks on it and having to pull pics off that aren't coming down easily would give at least a couple of people difficulty enough to fall, but nope didn't happen. I guess the challenge was pretty easy. I was also glad to see a new guantlet. "RE: The Gauntlet 2: Episode 03/13/06 Discussion" Part of the secret to truly being "laid back" is to be able to convince the others that you really ought to sit back and watch the others break a sweat. That's what the San Diego vet is doing - being so "laid back" that he can sit on the side lines and avoid doing any work. Sitting out is more to save his butt than anything and I wouldn't doubt it if that's his and Kina's plan. I just hope that the team stops allowing him to sit out especially next challenge because the other men on the team have more to offer in the challenges than he does and deserve to be there far more than him.
