Looks like two peeps are tied together and have to walk a tight wire without falling. Are the editors dropping the boat here? "RE: The Gauntlet 2: Epsiode 9; 01/30/06" Ok, I know a bunch of you will want to wring my neck when I say this but I can't help but get enjoyment from seeing Beth win the guantlet and stay. It's not that I'm a big Beth fan, it's just that it's so funny that they want her to go so bad and yet she stays. Honestly, if they want her out why not put someone in that they feel confident she will lose to and why even want her out when she's come through on the other challenges, with the exception of last night (although no one else came through either but at least tried), it's not like they have a bunch of strong woman on their team and she's not the weakest. As for the alliance talk, I agree it's boring. Jillian seems to be getting caught on her own words and I don't think she can be all that trusted. Cara and Susie keep saying there never was an alliance but an approach made on them to be part of one. Montana was useless. The previews of Jodi and Alton really make me ill. Alton is WAY too hot, way too cool, way too hot, way too sweet, way too down-to-earth, way too hot, way too honest, way too hot (....etc...etc...etc..) to be shacking up with Jodi. Jodi reminds me of my 16 year old sister. Alton reminds me of A GOD. As far as the new Real World goes?? I hope the season is not as bad as the new commercial for it. eta: Oh..and regarding alliances.....Jillian is a sneaky little thing...after watching Susie on Overdrive last week...I think Jillian is just out for trouble. Susie cracks me up. I don't even get it.....what is this Key West-Oriental-tour-guide-lady even talking about? Where the hell is krazy Karen? "RE: The Gauntlet 2: Epsiode 9; 01/30/06" Beth participated and did just as well as others during the first challenge (transporting coconuts), she did just as well as the others during the sponge-worthy challenge and the body paint challenge. Maybe she didn't stand out but she didn't just stand around and not do the work. Beth also was the best female runner for her team and really put in a lot of effort during the truck push thing. I'm not saying she is the hardest working person on her team, but she is not the weakest. Yes, she bombed hard on the tightrope challenge, she should have tried even if they wouldn't have made it. As far as I'm concerned there are other females on the Veterans team who are not up to par, most of them have gone, but what about Robin what does she do? I don't love Beth and I think she's b!tchy but all this talk about how weak she is seems to be a bit unfair when she is no worse than anyone else and has shined at least twice and bombed once, it seems to me that her team is more concerned about personalities than a person's work output.
