I have not been so easy on you these past days it seems
For I have felt ever more like touching, more than in a dream.
I have wanted to evoke the senses in each way that I could
Experimenting felt like freedom because it was understood. I'de like to give you solace, a word so seldom used
and yet the one that comes to mind when oft I think of you.... Comfort from the ordinary, rest from the mundane
To feather touch your fine strong arms and brush away all pain
To fall on you like cooling dew upon a parched terrain
So softly would I cushion you, a velvet cloud you could yet claim. I would come to you as a whisper, so quietly would I stay
You would not be sure I still remained until a touch would lead the way. For though you like the warmth and light
I am the woman of cool and night.
