PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"SSC3 (FV) Life Cycle Of A Daughter" |
LAST EDITED ON 08-11-03 AT 05:53 PM (EST)My baby girl, now a grown woman Out of high school and married One year, two years, three years, four content with her life no worries or chores. When asked about children She would say "no way!" It is a life of freedom she craves. Not held down and delayed. Ski weekends, Las Vegas trips The Rockies, New York, Palm Springs, Korea, Italy, Spain abound Tis the travel she loves not a worry around. She calls today and says she is pregnant. Happy as a lark is she So ready to hug and cuddle Diaper, feed, wash, and powder. To stay home, walk the floors To pace around and quietly close doors. Her thoughts, and attitudes so changed from before Ready to hear the word Mommie and know it refers to her. To hear a little voice saying "I love you" Tis the dream she now craves. The pregnancy is hard full of ups and downs Swollen ankles, high blood pressure Pre-eclampsia is the name. Labor is hard and full of pain She tires and cries and says "no way" Her husband does all that he can To ease her pain and lend a hand At last her son has arrived The air is filled with the sound of his cry As he is carried to his mother For her first look She holds him and smiles All pain forgotten with the cuddle of her child. (this poem is about my other daughter. I two, the one on my son will be posted soon.)

Thank you, I appreciate the comments. "Do you know, I always thought unicorns were fabulous monsters, too? I never saw one alive before!" "Well, now that we have seen each other," said the unicorn, "if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you." Lewis Carroll; Through the Looking Glass
