Canada Girl 3340 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 09-03-02, 08:44 PM (EST) "One year later, my thoughts are with you" I imagine that the next week or so is going to be hard on many of you. Memories of this time last year may be difficult for you, they are even for me up here. Just wanted those of you in the US to know that I will be sending positive vibes your way for the next little while. Chins up. Just watched Dateline about United flight 93 and I'm in tears again. I can't believe that it has almost been a year. I thought that in time my heart would stop aching - I was wrong. I wanted to share a pic with you guys of me and my now hubby at the WTC in April, 2001. This is one of my favorite pictures of us, because it reminds me of a time when we were so innocent, so vulnerable. We didn't yet realize the hate in this world. Hubby was at the WTC training for three weeks in the south tower and my mom and I went on our first trip to NYC to visit him. He recently came across his ID from the building and it sent chills up and down my spine, as I had just seen the exact same ID in a widow's hand on television - it was the only thing that had been recovered that was her husbands. Dabo's right, this was a world tragedy. Has anybody else recieved the e-mail about driving with your lights on and lighting a candle on your porch for 9-11 as a special remembrance to the victims and their families?
