Survivor 46 exclusive deleted scene shows Q dealing with attempted quit aftermath
"The other players don't want to be associated with me."

Rarely has one person pissed off so many others at a Survivor Tribal Council and not received a single vote to be eliminated, but that was the case on last week’s episode of Survivor 46. This week, we saw what happened when the tribe returned to camp after Q Burdette attempted to quit the game by asking his tribe mates to vote him out. (They sent Tevin Davis to the jury instead.) A mere sampling of the reactions once everyone got back to camp:
KENZIE: “If you wanna leave, there’s the door, baby. Don’t make us do it for you.” TIFF: “Shut up, bro. Play your own game.” VENUS: “He is literally an idiot.” BEN: “Q doing that at Tribal Council was like, ‘Hey, I’m a coward and don’t want to be at the bottom and reap the consequences of my actions so please vote me out so it looks like I have the moral high ground even though I am a total idiot.’”
But how did Q react to all the turmoil? Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive deleted scene of how the chaos agent handled the, shall we say, tense situation. Q seems to have isolated himself from the others, taking up a position chillaxing on top of the boat. Unsurprisingly, talk begins with control of the tribe.
“Up until last Tribal, I was running this show,” Q tells us in the scene, which can be watched above. “I had everything under control. Well, the captain lost control of the ship and now it's sailing in the sea and I have no control over getting it back.”
And how is he feeling about his tribe mates? “Right now, at this time, Kenzie and Tiff don't want to talk to me at all.” Imagine that! I wonder why! And the others? “The other players don't want to be associated with me because it might put a target on their backs.”
It’s at that point when we are treated to the true highlight of the clip, a super awkward interaction between Q and Charlie, who has wandered down not to offer support or check in on the tribe outcast, but rather just to grab his shoes. After some painfully uncomfortable small talk, Charlie wisely retreats back to the shelter.
As Q notes, “It's kind of quiet in the Q department, which it's fine if it's quiet right now.” He’s right about that. In fact, Q is on point as he correctly predicts that he may somehow survive the next Tribal Council — a prediction that would turn out to be true when Hunter McKnight was ousted instead.
“Maybe they're not talking about me as much at this Tribal,” says Q. “I think I might make it through. I need to try to make my way to eight, so I have to make sure I stay quiet as long as possible. But that's not my forte. Q is not being Superman tonight. So if everything goes to plan, I think Q comes back to this camp, and if Q comes back to this camp, he got a shot.”
