Hey all! Just wanted to say hi to everyone here. I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a girl from Cali and a big tv/reality fan. Have you lurked long? I think I lurked for 5 or 6 mos before Survivor brought me out into the open.If you have, you probably already know that this place is as eclectic as you can find on the net. If nobody offends you on a given day, you aren't reading many of the posts. If nobody makes you laugh, you really shouldn't hang out here because you have no sense of humor. Stay a while.

Hi and welcome! I'm still a kind of a newbie as well. I stayed in The Amazing Race area for a long while before I dipped my feet into OT and really like it here. These boards are full of the coolest people ever and what's great about OT is that you can jump in anywhere, or no, and it's all ok. I hope you stick around for a while!

I suppose this is as good of a place as any to introduce myself as well. I'm not enough of an attention whore to garner my own thread: I rarely post, but I've been lurking quite a while--impressing my friends with my foreknowledge of Survivor blatantly stolen from the Spoilers board.I'm a gradual, er, graduate student in English Lit, spending half my time teaching, half my time studying, half my time desultorily watching TV (mostly sports and a few reality shows), half my time playing online poker, and the other half of my time hitting the bars. (That's gradual school math, by the way. Those of you that have been there will understand.) I have a rather twisted sense of humor (carefully refined through years of overexposure to Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and Monty Python) and will probably pull it out if provoked. Um, my humor, that is. I grew up in North Dakota (Go Bison!), currently live in Ohio (Go Bucks!) and plan to settle, well, wherever the wind blows me.
