Wacko Jacko 2438 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Seventeen Magazine Model" 04-07-06, 09:21 AM (EST) "What's the deal with the Previews?" This is two weeks in a row that the previews have should stuff that was not aired in the weeks episode. The previews have been very misleading. Last week they showed a contestent (at night) being hauled off in a stretcher. This week they showed Terry trying to bribe Courtney with the immunity idol. No contestent went off on the stretcher and really no contestent was injured. Then this week they showed Terry trying to bribe Danielle not Courtney. This ticks me off.....the previews should at least show somethign that really happens.   Top

Well, i really don't want to crap on your parade, but the preview with the stretcher was not for episode where Nick got the boot (after the three week break) - instead it was a preview of the whole remaining show to come after the long break. So, the stretcher part will still come in one of the next episodes... As for Terry promissing an idol to someone in the previews for last night's episode - well, i mihgt be wrong on this, but i really don't remember him talking to Courtney on that one. I know they showed him talking to Sally in the jungle, but that's about it...   Top

LAST EDITED ON 04-07-06 AT 05:03 PM (EST) I disagree, they made it sound like it was that week. They were showing the preview leading up to that week not just after the previous episode. I wasn't the only one thinking this the local newspaper writer (in the tv section last thursday in the epispode preview said that someone injured could be leaving this week...he said he hoped it was Shane. And Terry told Courtney....reason I know it was Courtney and not Sally besides I know what each looks like, but Courtney was sitting on the ground when Terry told her. Sally was walking next to him when he told her. Anyone back me on this?   Top

LAST EDITED ON 04-07-06 AT 05:17 PM (EST) They cut from a close-up of Terry saying "I will give you the idol" (no one else visible in the shot) to a shot of Courtney sitting on the ground (with Austin's back to the camera in the front of the shot). Not quite sure why it's not sinking in, but the previews they showed before the 3 week hiatus are indeed from the upcoming episodes. It was a teaser to hopefully keep peoples interest up in the show. The shot of the CoconutChop was from a future episode. The shots of the stretcher were from a future episode and the shots of Terry and Aras shoving are from a future episode. CBS showed them not to tease you about what is coming in the very next episode but what to expect from the rest of the season. I noticed you had questions about this a couple of weeks ago and considering there was no return message I figured you missed out on the hint. http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID4/4027.shtml Wacko darling, please understand me when I say, the preview shots that you are getting so upset with CBS by not putting in the very next episdoe are indeed coming, just don't expect them right away. And since this is fanatics, I dare not pin-point the actual previews to which upcoming episode it matches, but they do. Trust me. Granted the show has never before done such a thing, but they've also never taken a 3-week break before.   Top

By the way speaking of the previews - It was really stupid of the producers of the show to bring up all the hype at the tribal councing when it was between Austin and Aras. It was obvious from the infamous 'all-season' preview that Araas and Terry were pushing each other during the challenge, and we did not see that last night, so it was obvious that Austin was a gonner...   Top
