I just got this from a friend and thought we could all use some, hee hee! How to Make Bedroom Slippers Out of Maxi Pads: You need four maxis' to make a pair. Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part. The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top. Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part. At my brother's wedding, my SIL's older sister got up to roast the bride. She proceeded to tell the everyone how my SIL once asked her what those pads were for. Older sister explained that you were supposed to wear them in your runners for extra padding and odor control. Well my SIL being an extremely gullable person even as a child took what the older sister said as gospel and decided to try them out in her runners the next day when she went to school. I guess the teacher was more than a little curious about the white padding sticking out of her runners and made my SIL take the shoes off in front of the class to see what it was. Aren't big sisters just the best? Canada Girl ~ when I come to visit I think I'll just bring my own slippers, but thanks just the same! ~ is also a big sister but not that evil.   Top
