Here I am!Actually, the storm system was about 20 miles north of me. I got home from the gym at around 11 - after not even seeing any rain - and my wife was blissfully unaware that there was even a tornado warning. Definitely a close call, though. Keeping the families who were affected in the prayers today and thankful that everything is alright here. But thanks for askin'.  
But, the four of us had a great time.

I'm still waiting to hear if her house made it through. there's way more than six houses destroyed. The footage on the news this morning after the sun came up was unbelievable. Some homes it was just the foundation left and everything else was just gone.

just heard that my friend's mom's house is fine. they were lucky. They were at the hospital with my friend's Grandma most of the night and got home to Anna at 10:30 which is when the tornadoes hit. She said the power was out and it was just really eerie there. It was dark of course because it was nighttime but the sky was also yellow and there was absolutely no wind or noise at all. I guess the tornados went through at the other end of Anna. It's not exactly a thriving metropolis so it's not very far away. It's very rural out there with a lot of new homes going up. Lots of JCP folks have been moving out there. Hopefully they all made it through ok.

Growing up in tornado territory that calm right before it hits really freaks me out. You can just tell something is coming.I moved to NC where we have a lot of calm air and it took me several months to get used to it. Most people don't like the breezy days, to me they feel like home.

it started building over Little Elm apparently, but I missed it all. I was outside at about ten with the dog and never noticed a thing then went straight to bed. Slept through it all.No hail or even rain to speak of. Neighbors said just a lot of wind.

What was really weird is that we had lots of lightning, wind and clouds but not a drop of rain. I even went to the gym about 10 miles north of here and didn't get a drop of rain. You could SEE the bad weather, but it was in a very solidly defined area.
But, the four of us had a great time.

It is hot, humid and cloudy. But no rain yet.We did have a small twister that tore up some houses about 2 miles NW of us last week. Nobody injured but some property damage.

Pooh and Buggy are right, it was about 45 mins to the north and west of me. However, it was 13 miles from a coworkers home, where she slept right through it! I sat on our front porch and watched quite the lightening display over that way.
Beautiful springtime provided by the beautiful Arkie!
