Reality TV World Message Board Forums
PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Looks like history was made as SpaceShipOne claims the prize. Wish I could have gone out there to watch... it's about 2 hours north from me.

I'm listening to the radio and it's touching down right this minute! Lot's of cheers and all... very exciting stuff - - -

It is amazing what American ingenuity can do with a motivation of profit available to the successful entrant.

How amazing!!! There was a special on the Discovery Channel last night. Did you know the pilot of the first trip wasn't even a high school graduate? Unbelieveable story...

I heard that on the way in to work... I guess on the "glide" back down (from 65 miles?) he didn't reconfigure the shuttlecock-type rear wing until 50,000 feet to slow her down, about 50,000 feet "late" - peoples eyes were the size of saucers, but he landed it on a dime anyway...

Now if Paul Allen can rocket his current Blazers team into space and get a new one, the Blazers might win some games!

Our OT To The Moon project. We'll have to find some other use for all this compost we've been saving.

This subject could be worthy of its own thread:

Submit ideas for DW's compost.
