SilverStar 6205 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 02-04-04, 02:31 PM (EST) "Beer Poll" I need your help, guys! I am not a beer drinker, in fact I might even say that I loathe it, but it has become the only thing I can afford to buy. So I was wondering what is your favorite, or what would you recommend for a person who doesn't like beer? The best that I have found so far is Michelob Ultra, but is one of the more expensive beers, so it kinda defeats the purpose! SilverStar   Top

Stick with a pilsner or maybe a wheat beer, they tend to be a little lighter. I've always liked Corona too -- that's a pretty mellow one. I heart JSlice   Top

"RE: Beer Poll" Yep, I notice a lot of beer neophytes tend to like Corona (especially with a lime twist) and it's reasonably priced, too. If you want a good strong beer, I recommend Rickards Red but it's about middle of the line in price. There's a beer up here that I like called Lakeport Honey Brown and it's $24 for 24 (Cdn $ -- beer usually go for about $32 to 34 for a 24).   Top

If you like "fruity" wines there are easy transitions through flaves like raspberry wheat (Pyramid makes a great RW) and cherry wheat (the only Sam Adams beer I drink). Henry Weinhart has a great selection of fairly mellow, decent beers that tend to be pretty inexpensive, though I don't know how widely they're available. And there's always my swill of choice... My fave is Corona though. I drink those and not have a headache the next day. I think you should try some of the fruity ones. You may like them. I don't think they taste like "beer" at all.
