Because both Brandon and Nicole stated many times that it would be Gods will that sees them win and he/she/it is control of their race. So, now, will they change religions to find a more favourable god? Perhaps one that can grant the Wizard of Wimp the basic requirments: a brain

No. God wanted Brandon to find his gumption. Finally, after Nicole had endured several indignities while Brandon simply prayed to the Lord to help her out, Brandon turned the corner and became a real man. He defended his woman. When he saw Chip trying to get Nicole's clam.  ... Okay, he really was just defending her clam, but it's still real manly-like.  SMILES ARE FREE
