Just when you think she couldn't murder that song any more than she did.....she did. Would love to have seen why they didn't include Simon's comments. Cuz, unlike the other two, he'd tell the truth? I've been a talent scout in the music industry for 18 years and the most merciful thing in the long run is to be thoroughly honest (not mean, just honest when they have no talent or marketability). Saves everyone a lot of heartache and money in the long run. Have seen way too many nice people waste their life savings or be needlessly in debt up to their ears so that they could finance expensive useless projects, just cuz people wanted to be "polite" and encourage them to market themselves. Although Simon's meanness is nothing but showbiz, I can totally understand his frustration. *whew* There I've said it. Now I feel better. I was a glutton for punishment and listened again, but mainly because the lyrics that Camille started out with didn't seem right. I know alot of you tape it, and I think she mixed the words completely. I looked them up after she sang tonight. Paula does try to go for kindness all the time, but tonight she was right about recording studio vs. live audience.   Top
