that a lot of the chopped wood had the ends already darken? It was like it had been cut for quite some time. Didn't notice much wood that had freshly cut ends to it. Noticed it a lot during the middle eposides. Just wondering if I was the only one?

Having been to Guatemala and Tikal, my guess is that they were not allowed to chop down any trees in a protected natural area. My guess is that the wood was chopped elsewhere and left on the ground for them to collect.My wife and I noted that much of the wood was very similar in length and thickness. PlimTuna

Welcome to the boards.PlimTuna is probably correct. That is probably why they were provided so much food. Otherwise they would be finding ways to trap howler monkeys for food, and that wouldn't go over well. Now if they had trapped Judd for food.....
