I think caps 44 and 45 of the happy Ulongs wavy and jumping is out of order and misdirection, they don't win immunity. Those shots are most likely part of the reward "build a better" challenge and they are waving at the judge or something like that.

Sit outs ....Katie, Willard, and Ian My question is why sit Katie out? She is heavier than both Janu and Jenn. She should have been up against Angie or Kim. I think we are over looking something about her. She is sitting out way too many challenges. To pull off a Koror win we would have to have Tom, Coby, Gregg and Janu win or have a tie the first round and we aren't seeing the tie breaker. Cann't wait for you to bring over the caps P so we can really pick them apart and THANKS SO MUCH for doing this week after week.

Here is the way I see it:Steph vs Jenn = Steph Ulong: 1
Angie vs. ? = Angie Ulong: 2
Ibe vs. Gregg = Ibe Ulong: 3
Tom vs. BJ = Tom(Rumors around that say the only one from Ulong that could beat Tom was Jeff, and he's gone)
Ulong: 3 Koror: 1
Kim vs. Janu = Janu Ulong: 3 Koror: 2
Coby vs. James = Coby Ulong: 3 Koror: 3
I don't think Coby or James are that strong, but Coby is a much LARGER man, taller and heavier, I think he'll win. So, we are likely to see this go into another round perhaps to declare a winner. And if only winners go against each other, then we have Coby, Tom and Janu vs. Ibe, Angie, and Steph I will note here that Veruca Salt has made a very astute observation in her editing thread that bears mention here. Everytime the challenges feature individuals of the tribe competing against individuals, then ULONG wins....and when the challenge is more team vs. team, KOROR wins. Here we see an individual vs. individual challenge at immunity...perhaps EPMB's attempt to hand Ulong an IC win? Will they indeed win it, or will they choke at it and have Koror win yet another IC?

Flowerpower - I like your ideas (and I hate to bring this up again) but I must go back to the spoilers that indicate a double boot in EPS 5 - Angie and Willard. If this is true and that all eight other Korors go on to the jury, then Koror wins immunity, sending Kim packing. Just wanted to point that out.

The IC is definitely Sumo at Sea. And as Debberz points out, from a purely physical standpoint, Ulong should win. For the Mersaydeez spoiler to continue to be accurate then, there must be a switch and the losing Koror's send one of whichever Ulong is on their tribe packing.

It appears there is no switch from Deb's post on who goes against who...What about this: The Mersaydeez spoiler is a bit off and Koror loses IC in Ep. 4, boots Willard bc they see him as weakest. Caryn is the misdirection. Then Ep. 5 is only ONE day and its a double TC but its a DOUBLE ULONG TC--and bc Ulong loses the reward they have to first go to TC like normal and Ulong boots KIM and then Koror comes in for a 2nd TC of ULONG and boots Angie who is getting on Koror's last nerve. Plus, she may be Ulong's representative (not switched) in Ep. 4 and further alienate KOROR. Therefore, KIM goes before ANGIE and Angie and Willard get to LL "about" the same time, one day apart. KB--what exactly does Mersaydeez say about the double TC and Willard and Angie's arrival at TC? Remember these spoilers should not completely rule the day... we gotta look at the editing, caps, etc. too

That's very good Emydi. It would make sense that if there is going to be another tribal (or two) the very next day that the staff would hold off on the trip to LL until they had them both/all three to take.On the other hand if we go with the theory that MB switches back and forth on giving us the truth in the previews and then a misdirection. He could be editing the promos to make it look like a Ulong win but in fact Koror somehow pulls it off. I still think Ibr was disqualified. In the caps he is throwing down his pad IMHO with a look of disgust on his face. In other caps it looks like he side-steps Gregg causing him to fall over the edge.

Really really interesting Emy!What if Koror does lose IC Ep. 4, and boots Willard. Double TC in Ep. 5 isn't both tribes going to TC, it's whichever tribe wins RC wins the reward of also booting a member from the losing tribe, which in addition has to boot it's own? Far fetched, maybe, but it would be a new twist to be sure. If that's possible, I can see Ulong booting Kim, then Koror coming in and booting Angie, who must suffer the consequences of her aggressive challenge actions. At that point, Angie will have seriously ticked off Janu, Caryn, & Gregg, if not more. Something to think about anyway, thanks Emy. Please call me Cat!!

The only problem with that scenario, is why would the episode be titled "the best and worst reward ever"? There seems to be nothing bad about it for Koror, if they win. Perhaps they have to switch camps or something, in addition, or they have to lose a member for a few days a la Rupert? It seems more likely, though, that they would have to boot one of their own in return for booting someone from the opposing team.

ftright I have those same reservations, but Angie made people mad at last RC challenge...Janu and Gregg esp. Remember Jiffy mentioned how your interact with others on the other tribe may affect your long term game...foreshadowing for Angie??? If she becomes the rep. for Ulong and interacts with Koror more, she may alienate them even more.. her editing seems to have changed making her one of the strongest on Ulong when she started out the "weakest"...now, she may be voted out because of it. EPMB loves to put irony in his story telling and I think that's what he's doing with Angie.... and tv...thanks for your comments on the title...I hadn't really thought of that...it would fit much better that even though Koror wins reward and gets to vote off a Ulong, they too have to go to TC... so, are the vidcaps showing us misdirection and Ulong loses again in ep. 4 or is it LAST MAN STANDING as FP suggests further down in the thread and Tom is the MAN AMONG MEN (and women) and pulls another IC out for Koror... If it is Ulong that goes, if they do not boot Kim...they deserve to be Pagonged pre-merge!!!

It also looks like Ibe is in the duck, that Jiffy picks him up in, possibly en route to Koror. Could they be the possible switch. Would make sense this week, Ulong wins & Willard gone, and next week's double could be Angie and Ibe if Koror votes off one of each. The Angie boot by Koror is starting to make a lot more sense as she beats the crap out of Koror's women. It also makes sense that MB never intended tribes to merge as these challenges would certainly build a lot of animosity between tribes. These have been personal. Also fits the war theme, keep fighting until opposition is annihilated.
This IC fits the ep title but not the story board. Those are supposed to be Better Built and Rescue at Sea. We already know they can be changed however. I could see how Home Depot tools would be an "Incredible Reward" for Koror, they have a terrible hut. Think they win RC?

In the second pic I thought that might be someone with Jiffy but after looking more closely I don't think it is. I say that the pic from lastnight's show (the first pic I included) is taken when Jiffy goes to Ulong to get the leader. The pictures of him on the boat are before he gets to Ulong. From the vid caps of the IC, it doesn't look like there is a switch until after they arrive at the IC even if there is a switch. Also, what would the leaders decide if not new tribes? I guess the decisions the leaders make could change their lives on the island but how?

The IC is definitely the Sumo at Sea so I see no reason why they would have changed the RC. I think both tribes would be very happy about getting tools. If we go by All-Stars, when they got the tools before, then the tribes not only got to keep their tool kits but also won other things by winning the RC. I am think the bedding/rain gear that didn't show up in EP. 3. This would be the best reward they have had so far and would definitely cause all the excitement we are seeing in the caps. This would also fit with the crate we see with Jiffy. I have no clue about why they would have to pick a captain for this unless that person has to design/pick what they have to build. *sure could use a spell checker*

Look at cap # 23 I think Bobby is going after Tom without using his pad. This could be against the rules and could cause a DQ. I could see Ulong getting so wrapped up in the comp that they keep getting DQs and end up losing. This would explain why the caps look like a Ulong win and also keep Mer's spoiler of Kim's boot true. Just an idea.

I don't think that vid cap is during any challenge unless the build challenge is one where they build something on their beach and is judged by someone that visits. I think that is Koror's beach.
Timewise, I think these three caps are taken very close together. Neither of them have a buff on and there is no tribe flag in the background like this one (and I know that is Ulong's flag, I just used this one to show what I think it would look like if they were at the IC):

The reps could be the ones to decide the match ups for the Summo game.On a side note I think from the vid caps that Koror loses the RC. the scene of them with Tom hunched over is them finding out they lost. Caryn doesn't look happy. Then Tom takes out his anger of having to crap in the bushes by single handly winning the IC for Koror. I think it comes down to a tie and Tom and BJ are chosen to decide the match. So far every IC has been playing to Tom's strength and training as a Fireman (pulling the box underwater, carrying 20 lbs of sand while running in the water.. etc) and he has carried the load as it were with Ian and Gregg being close behind. This would also go along with the TC where BJ gushed about how great Tom was in that IC last week. BJ just is no match for Tom and he is Ulongs best player tied with Angie. Basically any caps of Ulong being happy are either at RC or when they win one of the IC matches.

Kim stares daggers at Jeff (she will have something to say about this at camp later):
 Jeff gives them instructions to build an outhouse. Perhaps the materials will be waiting for them back at camp. The winning tribe will get the giant crate that's in the speedboat, via an airplane or boat drop-off later on. So they go off to build their outhouses (Ibrehem holds the nails for Ulong). The outhouses are appraised, either from on high or by a visiting dignitary, a la P.I. Eventually Koror sees the boat/plane coming with the prize: 6 "Yay, we won reward. We are just. TOO. HAPPY!!!"

This is good, the only thing missing is, why did they have to pick representatives? And what are the choices this representative makes that the tribe has to live with?Since cbs always exaggerates in the misdirection, I think all it might be is, the box on the boat is full of various tools, and the leaders have to decide which tools to take, taking turns making choices.

Great Cat, I see no flag pole in the background at the IC, but in the cap of the what I think is the RC we see the box/crate and we see a flag pole....that could be the Ulong beach where they have built an outhouse that has been judged the winner by perhaps the boat that is arriving with their prize(s).What do you think?

Besides having two sticks to hold it up, the flag at the Ulong camp is not in the middle of the beach, but at the back where the vegetation begins. I think that the VC in FP's post is from the IC...the beach itself looks like the beach in the known IC challenge VC's. Ulong is cheering on or celebrating 'a win' of one of their tribemates.

We have the three sit outs(Katie, Ian, and Willard) On the far left. Coby is in the battle out front. Caryn is most definately sitting on the mat. So that leaves us with Janu, Jenn, Tom, and Gregg for Koror. Let just say standing from left to right is Tom, Gregg, and Jenn or Janu. It is definately two guys and a girl. The person in the middle can't be Jenn, we can see in other caps she is wearing her buff for a skirt. It can't be Janu, the legs are way too stocky. So it must be Gregg and either Jenn or Janu is not in this frame. I am think Jaun is the missing Koror, (she has worn her pants to all the challenges so far). She is probably waiting at the staging area for her turn. So my question is....Who is sitting next to Caryn? Is it Bobby and he is sitting there because that is the losers mat? **Edited to add that cap 22 show Janu is wearing her jeans.**

A. The person sitting next to Caryn has a wider chest and shoulders...Janu is the smallest person on both tribes. B. Janu's pants are tight jeans that she keeps rolled up to mid-calf. They are too tight and too long to ride up over her knees when she sits down.

I think that is indeed the losers mat with Caryn obviously the person on the left, and to my eye, that is Janu on the right. The photos are such poor quality that it's really difficult to get anything usuable on a close-up, but see what you think. This photo shows Janu with her hair up in a bun on top of her head, going against Kim: 
This close-up of the person on the right of the 'losers mat' looks to have the same bun on her head. I don't think there's anyway it's Bobby Jon. It is very poor quality, but to me this is a tall, very thin person. Look how small the chest is: 
This is a good point, since the Kim/Janu match-ups were one of the undecided ones to me. If this theory is correct, and that is a loser mat, Kim wins this one. Please call me Cat!!

Iberehem beats Gregg: Ulong=2
Tom beats BJ: Ulong=2, Koror=1
Steph beats Jenn: Ulong=3, Koror=1
Coby beats James: Ulong=3, Koror=2
and finally if Kimber beats Janu: Ulong=4, Koror=2
so Ulong would win IC So, imo, this is NOT the LOSER MAT, must just be a mat... I still think that skinny Janu will beat Kimber....

FP, if I try to fit the match-up results to fit spoilers so that Koror wins IC, that makes sense.
But, if I look at the match-ups ignoring any spoilers, I see this as a Ulong win. I think Kimber beats skinny Janu. Janu showed in the last RC that she's not a fighter. All she really did there was get dunked and then splash water at Angie. I think like Ian, she doesn't have that fighter instinct. Kimber is an angry young lady, lol. She knows her neck is on the line. I can see Kimber whipping Janu. We know Angie beats Caryn, because of her victory dance pic, Ulong +1.
We know Steph beats Jenn, Ulong +2.
I think that is a loser mat. Isn't there always a loser mat at IC? If so, Kimber beats Janu, Ulong +3.
I believe Ibe beats Gregg, pics show him standing still, looking exhausted. Ulong +4. To me, the undecided matches are BJ vs Tom. Pics show Tom down on all 4's and BJ lunging at him. I can't rule BJ out, that man goes for it with all he's worth in challenges. Undecided. Coby vs James. Hard to tell from the caps who will win this one. I have to look at various bits of info about them. Coby is larger, but he is a hairdresser, not physically fit. James is a redneck and imho will fight dirty if necessary to win, but as Deb pointed out, could result in DQ, who knows what the rules will be. If I look at this logically with the bits of info we have from vidcaps, Ulong wins. There's also this pic of Steph, Angie and BJ with their hands up in celebration. If this is at IC, and the beach looks to be challenge beach to me, that supports that either James, Ibe or Kimber just won.

What if the challenge is one-on-one, but best two-out-of-three? I don't know if they would do that, because the ICs often seem like a "one-chance" sort of thing, but the challenges this year have been rather gruelling, so it would be par for the course. Therefore, in the previews we see Ulong dominating most of the match-ups, but only winning one matchup each. Koror could make a comeback, in theory. Of course, thinking logically without trying to make the spoilers fit an Ulong loss, it seems obvious that they would win with their strength. So who knows.

Cat This maybe the week that the spoilers hit the cutting room floor.Sometimes the truth hits you in the face and the results hide in plain sight. So far this season Ulong has won the challenges where the matchups are individual. This weeks IC is one where the survivors are matched up one on one. The only aspect where teamwork takes any part is in the final tribal score of wins and losses.This could be the week where the trend of Ulong losing the ICs and winning the RCs ends as they win the IC and lose the RC.RedBeard

I really thought about that being Janu's bun but had decided that maybe it was a rock behind the person's head. Please correct me if I am wrong:There are no RC picts this week except for Jiffy in the landing craft with the box? If that is true and with the what is presented in the promo it would seem to me that Ulong wins RC and the picts and VO of the IC leads me to believe that Ulong looses IC again. It has been mentioned how CBS and EPMB like to exagerate the promos, creating a drama more intense than what happens in the actual show. The trend leading from EP 3 is that Ulong is on the ropes and must win IC this week to stop the bleeding. The pictures indicate that Ulong could win but then they have James saying "We're gonna run right through them like a dang bulldozer." In Ep. 2 James stated that Kim only had her sexuality going for her. Just as his Ep 2 comment was mis-direction I believe his Ep. 4 comment is as well. He has also given mis-direction during the episodes.

I did look to see if mentioned; very difficult as the pictures take quite some time to open for me I have posted two pictures that were from Survivor Phoenix. 
In my less than capable eyes, I see two pictures of Ibe. One with a buff and one without. This suggests to me there is a second round in some aspect. If, in fact, all the players in the challenge participate as it appears they do, it stands to reason that there are more matchups in light of a tie. The one shot of Ibe suggests he does very well. The other shot of Ibe does not reflect the same conclusion. In terms of what I like best, Ibe, being the strong player he visually appears has me less than satisfied in the challenges. Bobby carried the weight of his tribe last week despite the fact that Ibe certainly is very muscular. Additionally his TC comments left me intrigued as it was the first time we saw so much of him and his thoughts on how and why they could have won the challenge. He may be the deciding factor in who wins and it may not be a positive outcome

It was pointed out on the sucks board that in the pics of Ib without his buff you can see water splashing up. Great catch...it tells up he ends up in the water at least once, and that he is not happy about it by the look on his face. Complete speculation but because he looks so mad could this be the deciding round either individual or team?Sorry the better splash cap I found is too big to upload here.

Eyemail usually shows people that are important to that episode's storyline. Often, this means the bootee. However, this week, there is the question of leaders as well. Are Tom and Angie the leaders for Koror and Ulong?What of that bottom picture?
Koror is celebrating on the left but on the right there are some people lying on the sand. Ulongers no doubt. Is it possible to know which challenge this is? Because Willard the Designated Sitter is celebrating, it suggests that this is a post challenge celebration and not something interim. So a Koror win for IC? (since the RC challenge doesn't seem to require the two tribes to be on the same beach when the victors are announced)
