Caps from the next two new episodes are up and there is LOTS of good info in them. If you don't want to know, don't look. Also it states here that the new eps will begin airing Jan 5th, not in Feb as was previously discussed. I wonder which one it is... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Alrighty then, let's start with the episode captions as provided by ABC Media Net: Caption for Whatever the Case May Be (Kate episode): LOST - "Whatever the Case May Be" - Jack, Kate and Sawyer fight over possession of a newly discovered locked metal briefcase which might contain insights into Kate's mysterious past. Meanwhile, Sayid asks a reluctant Shannon to translate notes he took from the French woman, a rising tide threatens to engulf the fuselage and the entire beach encampment, and Rose and a grieving Charlie tentatively bond over Claire's baffling disappearance, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/MARIO PEREZ) EVANGELINE LILLY, TIM HALLIGAN Now the pics from this ep (from Lost-media): Sayid & Shannon viewing maps/notes Lost folks moving to the caves Rose comforting Charlie Sawyer confronting? Kate about the metal briefcase Kate with a little miniature plane (I included this pic cause it was interesting - where did this mini plane come from?) Jack giving something rectangular to Sawyer. Here's a blown up pic of the item: Kate kissing bank-robber boyfriend? Kate in vault during robbery Kate with boyfriend? again Kate with gun, standing in front of dead? guy Caption for Hearts & Minds (Boone/Shannon episode): LOST - "Hearts and Minds" - When Locke learns that Boone wants to tell their "secret" to Shannon, Shannon's life is placed in sudden peril, and the shocking truth about her past with Boone is revealed. Meanwhile, Kate is puzzled by Sun's mysterious behavior, and a hungry Hurley must repay a debt to Jin, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 12 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/MARIO PEREZ) Sorry these caps are SO small. Without passwords and such, we can only view the thumbnails (from ABC Media Net)" Boone talking to someone while Sawyer is being arrested? behind him Boone and Shannon with random dude (in another cap I didn't include, we see Boone appear to be grabbing Shannon's arm - this shot is in same scene as random guy pics) Sawyer being arrested? Hurley and Jin - Hurley discussing fishing with Jin (Hurley caps include a couple of him with a large fishing net) Kate talking to Sun Jack & Charlie messing with something (can't tell what it is in this pic, sorry) Kate & Sun digging/burying something with Jack watching (there are other pics of them digging/burying - they appear to be the only two shown in the dirt) More Sayid/Shannon action. FYI, about a third of the pics from these two eps are Sayid & Shannon pics. Sayid is supposed to have a relationship with someone in upcoming episodes (info from an interview with Naveen Andrews, who plays Sayid) - based on these pics, methinks it must be Shannon. Some of the pics show them seemingly cozy on the beach/in cave at night. Some interesting things, no doubt!!! I will have to search for the lyrics to "Hearts & Minds" (all episode titles appear to be song titles or, in the case of the most recent ep with the Cowboys/Daddy Issues, an adaptation of a song title)...maybe we'll find some clues about Boone & Shannon's relationship/secret within the lyrics?!? Also, note Kate's bruised face in the robbery/vault scenes. My initial reaction was that maybe this guy she's kissing is not a boyfriend - some of her body language in the pics looks like she's not into it. We know she begrudgingly kisses Sawyer in order to get meds from him, so maybe there's another reason she's kissing this guy. Probably not, but with this show, you never know! Enjoy!   Top

I taped the premiere last night, so I'll go see if I can find pics of what they were wearing when the plane crashed (I still haven't seen the premier ep, btw! Meant to watch it this morning but got caught up in spoiler hunting)...I originally thought maybe it was in the airport because it looks like a ticketing counter behind Sawyer in the pic of him with the two security/cops. But the pic of Boone with Sawyer in the background doesn't much look like an airpirt to me...it probably is though...makes the most sense (but they are all said to be interconnected either directly or indirectly, so...)   Top

Also, in the start of the article, it mentions Jack and Kate digging up the U.S. Marshal's body to get a key out of his pocket that opens a brief case. "Pic of Kate with Gun" Looks to me like the bank manager(?) is holding a key up to Kate. I'm thinking Kate took the gun away from the bank robbers(as we saw her do to Sawyer) and then the manager finds HER bank key on one of the bodies and she is blamed as an accomplice. I'm not sure how her boyfriend ties into this other than he is obviously one of the robbers..but I don't think that Kate was in on the plan ahead of time. I hope this makes sense..   Top

And I am so glad the series will start up again Jan, not Feb--that always seemed a bit screwy to me. Anyway--Kate is wearing the same clothes in the kissing scene as in the robbery scene--but her face is not bruised in the kissing pic. Something not-fun happens to Kate between these two pics. Is her boyfriend abusive? Something during the robbery? Since they have guns & are "in control" during the robbery an incident at the bank seems less likely. Swami   Top

The marking on her face that some are considering bruising looks to be more like blood. It is most likely transferred blood from someone else. It is possibly from a dying exchange between Kate and her boyfriend. He shoots the guard, the guard shoots him, and no one is left alive to confirm Kate’s story about not being involved, just knowing one of the robbers.. A sad and tragic tale of loving the wrong man. (See the pic where Kate is leaning against the desk,her face and body language)I think he might have the mask in his hand-just a guess since you can't really tell what he's holding. I started thinking lastnight about the show and the vid caps. There were some vid caps of future shows. Here are the ones I didn't see: Is Sawyer going to turn out to be the man with the little boy that Shannon lived with? The pics of Sawyer getting arrested are going to be in a flasback and looks like Shannon knew Sawyer before the plane crash. Did I miss any pics?   Top
