PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

It's either called "Money" or "For The Love Of Money" by The O'Jays. It was originally released in the late 70s.

I didn't really notice. I remember Pink Floyd did a song called Money in the 70s. I think I would have noticed if it were the PF song. I don't understand how different bands can copywrite the same song name.

Pink Floyd wrote "money" which is an entirely different song than "for the love of money" performed by the O'Jays. Try doing a search for songs about money or with "money" in the title and it would have to be 00's if not 000's of songs. Popular subject. I may be wrong but, I think that it's the content of the song (lyrics and music) that are copywrited and not necessarily the name? I believe multiple songs could have the same name and be considered protected work by the respective artists. I've never been wrong about anything before but I could be mistaken about this?

As far the copywrite laws go..You cant copywrite song names but you can albums and band names..As well as lyrics and melodies..

It is "For The Love Of Money". Great tune. Also by the O'Jays, and appropriate here, "Back Stabbers".BACK STABBERS THE O'JAYS (What they do!) (They smile in your face) All the time they want to take your place The back stabbers (back stabbers) (They smile in your face) All the time they want to take your place The back stabbers (back stabbers) All you fellows who have someone and you really care, yeah, yeah Then it's all of you fellows who better beware, yeah yeah Somebody's out to get your lady A few of your buddies they sure look shady Blades are long, clenched tight in their fist Aimin' straight at your back And I don't think they'll miss (What they do!) (They smile in your face) All the time they want to take your place The back stabbers (back stabbers) I keep gettin' all these visits from my friends, yeah, what they doin to me They come to my house again and again and again and again, yeah So are they there to see my woman I don't even be home but they just keep on comin' What can I do to get on the right track I wish they'd take some of these knives off my back (They smile in your face) All the time they want to take your place The back stabbers (back stabbers) Low down... dirty... (What they do!) (They smile in your face) Smiling faces... smiling faces sometimes tell lies (Back stabbers) (They smile in your face) I don't need... low down, dirty bastards (Back stabbers)
