This is my first time trying this, and how fun it was.. I spent way to long to accomplish these results, using three different programs.. I'm pretty much computer retarded, so not only was adding super scary Christopher Walken *shudder* to my pumpkin fun, but learning how to use my programs was muy divertido...(couldn't think of a synonym for fun, so i just switched languages...)

I'm attempting to carve a REAL Dora pumpkin tonight (I've never carved a pumpkin in my life...tragic, I know), so I thought I'd try my hand at one on the puter first to see how it will look! It's rather cute, I think - I want to make a matching Boots pumpkin, but I think that might be a bit trickier.
If you're familiar with Dora the Explorer, you'll know that in the theme song, Dora is called "Super Cool Exploradora" and Calabaza is Spanish for pumpkin...hence, the title of this masterpiece All this talk of pumpking carving contests and here I thought it was REAL pumpkins we'd have to carve!!!! LOL...this is much more fun for puter dorks!

I had fun while I was searching for the perfect candle to put inside. I had fun while I was thinking about the FUNny (or is that PUNny) joke that goes with this submission. I had fun while I was admiring my geeekiness. I should also point out that I just got my very own copy of Photoshop, and this is my first time using it on my own computer, so practicing the FUNdamentals of Photoshop was fun. I had a ton of fun, because I had to do so many searches for images. And on each one, I got to think about all my fellow OT-ers and how their image brings to mind that person. Finally we are on the same page! I found 58 images, so I got to have fun 58 times! And I made it fun for you, trying to figure out who every image represents. Thats where the humor comes in - the lame photos I found for people, like Weasel, Jslice, Minitroll, and AyaK! And some are just scary. I tried to find something for everyone I could, but it was hard for those who dont have a pic, or one I couldnt find a substitute for. If I missed someone, write me with suggestions, and Ill gladly add something. Hope this was
a good representation.

I'm sorry this was late, but the thread is so friggin long it took hours and hours just to open it, and then i wanted to make sure I wasn't copying anyone, and it took hours to scroll down,a nd then hours to save the picture and then to upload it. So all this lost time meant I didn't get to sleep, and I'm sitting here just in my boxers, and I'm exhausted, and I haven't eaten and my body is shutting down on me, and I might get pneumonia or I might get attacked by a pelican, and I might get ridiculed for posting this late, so I don't think I can take this. I cried like a little girl at having to actually using a knife, and the thought of getting my hands dirty with the pumpkin goop made me faint. Needless to say, I DIDN'T HAVE ANY FUN AT ALL!!!!

Thank you Icey, still my reigning god of all things computerish. And thanks to CQ for your patient and educational coaching. I had more than FUN once I finally started painting, I had a BLAST. Neighbors were telling me to be quiet I was laughing so loud. Even after I finished and it wouldn't download, my high was strong enough to carry me through.Sorry it's not very creative but I am not an artist. Can you at least tell I was going for the clownfish affect? I want to say AWESOME job to all the other "carvers" who posted their works of art. And I mean that in the most sincere way. I only hope to get more practiced at this so I can actually compete with you all next year. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
