Maybe we should have John Kerry go over there to lobby his friends the French ... and then not let him come back ...French high court rejects gay marriage But they can always move to Quebec and get married ... if they don't mind freezing.

Will you also be hating Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon and Utah? All of these states have passed laws against gay marriage.
I'm sure that there are more, but my Googling skills suck. I'm just trying to make sure that you don't save all your hatred for France. There are more than enough examples of bigotry to go around, here at home. eta: Where we can all make a difference.

ETA: I'm sure that Rudy could name all the states that have voted to discriminate against gay people. He usually takes a certain pleasure in mentioning how many have done so. He could probably fill in any that you missed.

Well, they're both in the nightshade family, but tomatoes and tomatilloes (or "husk tomatoes") are in different genuses, about as closely related as tomatoes and tobacco or tomatilloes and chiles.The tomato is more closely related to the potato than to the tomatillo.

Quebec? The last time I checked....ALL of CANADA was a little larger than just Quebec...and the weather is just lovely out here in Southern British Columbia...  (now, I LOVE Quebec...but just saying that dismissing an entire country as an option because of Quebec's weather is simply silly...)

Well no...as he said one could move to Quebec if they "didn't mind freezing"..he didn't say anything about speaking french...oh..my god...i just got the reason he said that...he was referring to the people in France! *hits self on forehead with back of hand* Okay, I guess I am a little slow today!! (I just thought he was referring to other countries were gay marriage was acceptable and I was confused why he only mentioned Quebec and not the rest of Canada!!)
