I am in awe of the troop who saved the life of one of the injured by administering CPR for over an hour. CPR is exhausting. I hope they receive some kind of recognition for their efforts.   Top

More lightning/more scout deaths." *sigh* Unfortunately, it's the season for camping and when Scouts camp, they are out in all kinds of weather. I am in awe too. BSA has a special lifesaving award. One of our boys got one a couple of years ago for calling 911 when his grandma was having a heart attack. "Very freaky" I went to Wyoming Trek one year for Girl Scouts, it's held on this huge plateau in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming. It stormed every day, the most amazing storms I had ever seen. You could see ever lightening bolt, just like they were drawn in the sky. Scary, but amazing. Save a horse, ride a cowboy.   Top
