It just wouldn't start when Mom and I stopped at the store yesterday. I called hubby and luckily he was right down the street. He was so pissed at me ( like I did something to it).
We jumped the battery and it ran okay to get home, but then it spewed green radiator juice everywhere.Hubby says the radiator is leaking bad. And my mom is supposed to go to the Doctor today
and apparently it is all my fault that my husband is a big dorkhead

At 10 last night, Katie told me about a school project that was due today. I got mad at dorkhead and flipped the lock to the garage thinking I was funny. He busted the door frame ( instead of, gee, I don't know, walking around to the other door). I have no way to get to work tomorrow, and no way to get my Mom to the Doctor. I'm really tired and feel like crying.
Oh and I forgot to pay the power bill and they shut us off for about 2 hours yeasterday.

LAST EDITED ON 09-22-04 AT 10:16 AM (EST)none of these are insurmountable - take it one at a time. first off - have yourself a good cry. it will releive some of the stress and you've earned it. go shut the door and cry. or yell. or beat the hell out of a pillow. don't worry about the door frame - this is officially his problem. the garage door itself works right? so the house is secure. people who throw temper tantrums have to deal wit the consequences themselves. I wouldn't even mention it to him. see if a neighbor will let you borrow a car to get your mom to the doctor. if it's just in town it shouldn't be a problem or even if it's in fort worth - buy them some gas and make them a cake in thanks. rent a wreck is cheap - like $20 bucks a day - or just see if you can move the appointment. call a couple co-workers and bum a ride. you'd give them a ride and you know it. that's what people do - they help each other - you give help, you will receive it in spades. the power is back on so don't worry about that. at least they didn't do it in the evening and then close the offices for the night. take it one at a time buggy - don't let this overwhelm you - we love you, you know.

I don't know why he didn't go to work, maybe he traded for tomorrow, that is supposed to be his day off. I heard a drill so I think he might be trying to fix the door. I swear he is pissed at me about the car, like how is that my fault?

Well, if he's anything like my DH he's not really mad at YOU, he's mad about the car and the situation and is taking it out on you because you're THERE. DH and I have fights like this all the time -- he gets mad about something that happened to him/us that I had no control over or involvement in but he still just goes off on me. Just try to ignore it and give him some space. Trying to talk to him now would probably only lead to him going on a tirade. And you are right -- it isn't your fault. Hang in there, hon. This too, shall pass.

Katie's project would have been no problem with Gus around. 3) Send a letter to Oprah & maybe you can get a new car. Of course you may have to sell it to buy a cheaper one after the whole gift tax thing. 4) Pooh says Cheetoes cure most things. Has your mom tried those? Try bringing a bag to the doctor's office next time & see if others will take part in your "clinical trial." 5) Find something to laugh about. Like beating your husband to an unconscious state. That always makes me laugh...ok, like a crazy person laugh, but it's still laughing.
