woeisme1 4081 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Jerry Springer Show Guest" 08-04-04, 00:27 AM (EST) "I am disappointed" And terribly so. Okay, seldom do I rant but I feel the need at the moment. I got an e-mail alert about 20 minutes ago from Ticketmaster. This is not unusual since I signed up for the monthly calendar for events in my local venue. But it seems somewhat cruel to alert me 2 hours before The Who will begin their concert. At the nice rate of 65.00 per ticket. For a concert I paid 170.00 per ticket for on the mainland (and it was so worth every penny). So I am thinking of sending this friendship prayer to Ticketmaster since I have it available: May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch. Amen Thank you for giving me a place to safely vent. On a single airline flight there may be 20 different prices charged for the exact same seat. It may not seem fair. But the airlines or in this case the promoters are trying to maximize profitts. Maybe they had an excess of tickets left that they decided to discount. Obviously a ticket that is sold cheaply is better than an empty seat for the promoter. ©Slice & Dice Chop Shop 2004   Top
