Well peeps...the time has come for me to go where no ISP has gone before. Yep, I'm going back to my mom's later today and I don't know how long it will be before we get our satellite internet hooked up out there (we're ordering today...hopefully not TOO long). If it's a REALLY long time, I will do my best to check in from the library, but I can't make any promises. So wthout further ado...on to some special thanks... Just want to thank all of the lovely newbie (newbie to me anyway) bar peeps I've met over the past few weeks. And a special shout-out to my bar homie I_AM_HE. First peep I ever met in the bar and HE was almost always the ONLY peep in the bar when I was (a little thing called living on another continent will do that to ya). And best wishes to the new bride, StarryLuna. I didn't get a chance to post to your wedding thresds before, but I didn't want to leave without saying "good luck" and not to forget to appreciate the little things! Happy back-to-schooling to all college-bound folks and lovely teachers (sheesh, some peeps are already starting school next week)! Good luck to the banana on its cross-continent journeys! Watch out for thumbtacks and small teething children! Thanks to cappy, my first OT stalker! Whoo hoo! Keep your head up...we all want to see those dreamy eyes, after all sittem, I know I haven't talked to you in a while but I haven't forgotten about you, of course! I hope all is well in Chi-town! Have you made any decisions about Kenya (it was Kenya, right)? Thanks for all of your guidance and friendship! And of course, thanks Webby for this great place called OT! Today was adoption celebration day and we've been out almost all day. We do this every year and it's really special. No, no decisions on Kenya - back in the day to day here. I know we'll be going back to Africa at some point. One big issue with Kenya is schooling - it would seem that with home schooling all would be well. However, it's clear that to home school there would set up HUGE barriers between us and the people and we want to break down barriers. So, for now it's a mystery how we'd handle it.
