apparently carrie outsold bo.... carrie debuted at no. 1 with 130,000 copies. a week after carrie released her single, bo emerged into the top spot of the billboard hot 100 but only sold 106,000 copies. carrie dropped to the no. 2 spot with 71,000 copies sold.what do you guys make of this? is this indicative of how things will go when these two release their respective album come fall?

I think Bo's audience is older, less likely to run out & grab a single of a syrupy AI song and a cover when we they know that an album is coming out in 6 months or so. (I haven't bought a single since they were $.99 at Musicland -- It was "Kung Fu Fighting" and "That's the Way I Like It")
