First hour; 20 Survivors...too many in too short a timeframe to prioritize 1 to 20 so I'll rank within their tribes. I'm listing tribes in order of IC finish. (Is that politically correct for everyone??? LOL)PUKA TRIBE
1) CAO BOI - I didn't know voodoo doctors ran rampant in Vietnam? They're the only practitioners that would welt a forehead to relieve a headache. I couldn't last 24 hours with this character, but his entertainment potential is unlimited.
2) BRAD - Gotta rank him #2 for having to walk around with a visible "indicator" of Cao Boi voodoo methods.
3) YUL - Wonder why there was blood on the bridge of his nose? Maybe he was suffering from nasal congestion and Cao Boi was able to cure that too!
4) JENNY - Did this girl say more than one sentence?
5) BECKY - Did this girl say more than one word?
AITU TRIBE
1) OZZY - Clearly knowledgable about survival skills. Very smart of him to stand back and let Billy hang himself first. Knew when to jump in and get the job done. If I had to rank 1 to 20, he'd be my #1 after the first episode.
2) JP - Solid proactive player who strikes me as a person who will put out 110%.
3) CHRISTINA - I honestly didn't remember who she was until I looked back at the bios. Even so, I have to rank her higher than the other two.
4) CECILIA - I'm smelling coattail rider...and that's a scent that stinks.
5) BILLY - His bio lists several honors in Martial Arts. Must be from breaking bricks with his head because from what I saw he couldn't have won those awards on the basis of agility and speed.
RARO TRIBE
1) JONATHON - I'm always partial to middle-aged Survivors; especially when they're able to beat the snot out of outcasts half their age. Not sure if Jonathon fits that mold; we'll have to see.
2) PARVOTI - She's my eye candy this season. Being athletic (female boxer) is a bonus.
3) ADAM - A potential major threat in the physical challenges. But if he is unable to keep his libido in check, it could be his downfall.
4) CANDICE - We haven't had sappy showmances since Palau. With most of the cast NOT listing a husband/wife or bf/gf could the show be forcing feeding this nonsense to us for this season? Probably. If so, Candice is a prime candidate.
5) "FLIKA" - Exile Island had a moron in Sally that lost the spear gun; Cook Islands has Flika who lets the chickens escape. Unlike Sally, her bonehead move only cost them one meal, but what the heck was she thinking? Rollerderby girl probably flipped over the rail one too many times and landed on her head.
HIKI TRIBE
1) SUNDRA - Only Hiki tribemember not gung-ho about "representing her race". As long as she continues to ignore the ethnicality divisions and does not get caught up in the battle of the sexes she should go far.
2) NATHAN - It's not his fault he's on the short end of the gender split in this tribe; but that's the hand he was dealt. He should be able to bounce back and be a strong contributer going forward.
3) STEPHANIE - The guys would have had your back if you aligned with them. The girls will discard you when your vote is not needed. Hiki better not lose the next IC for your sake.
4) REBECCA - Lighten up about having to represent your race. The tribe divisions are nothing more than a promotional scam to drum up controversy and create more PR. If you don't have the foresight to see that and are fixated by this twist, then this game is not for you.
BOOTED) SEKOU - His shirt could not have been that soiled and soaked with perspiration by laying on the raft all day. I'm sure he was working, but I unerstand the show's editing to depict laziness to mask their blunder of uneven gender tribes. The first bootee is usually a victim of circumstance; Sekou was no excepton.
