Have always wanted to start my own thread...Thursday, March 10, 8PM ET/PT Tensions rise within both tribes when they are forced to choose leaders for the next Reward Challenge. What role will the leaders play? One castaway becomes annoyed when a tribemate complains of having no energy and doesn't help the tribe. Spirits are high within a tribe when they win a Challenge and an extraordinary Reward. It is still early in the game, yet signs of tribal division emerge when one group considers banding together to vote out a tribemate. Who is the unlucky one? 4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions

I guess I was saying more along the lines that Ulong hadn't picked a leader before Jiffy arrived. So, they hadn't actually picked someone made the statement incorrect...however, after thinking more about it you are right. Jiffy is gonna make them pick a leader anyways!

This isn't only mis-direction but just wrong. We clearly see Jiffy asking the Ulong tribe why they haven't picked a leader. I actually thought when Jeff stated that they haven't picked a leader yet, that Ulong was reacting to the news that Koror had not picked a leader yet. On the promo, it looked like Ulong were looking at something over their shoulder and to the side, with a surprised look on some of their faces.

Jeff says this and it shows Ulong all staring to their left. Are they looking at Koror's boat and wondering why they didn't pick a leader?

That's a good point, maybe it is Koror who can't decide. They seem to be discussing it for a long time at camp.I'm wondering if the representatives are tied to a voluntary tribal switch, which MarkoPolo and others have suggested. The storyboard had the switch for Ep 3, yet in all the previews there is no evidence anyone gets switched. And the Mersaydeez spoiler seems to indicate there won't be a switch later on either. The treemail says: Today you must choose one, and only one, tribal representative to make some important choices. The tribe will then (have) to live with those decisions. It's possible the two representatives have to decide whether or not to switch anyone from their tribe (and then select which persons to switch or which persons to receive from the other tribe). That would fit with the idea that the others have to live with the representatives' decisions. It doesn't make sense that the tree mail message refers to the reward challenge, especially if they have to build something. What decision would a representative have to make there? Where to build the outhouse? If it is the case that the two representatives are given the choice of reshuffling the tribes, it appears they will both choose not to. Bridge for sale to highest bidder. I like this BR. Are you suggesting the two representatives may not be the ones that switch but they might possibly be responsible for switching someone else? I like this option and I can also see where the representatives wouldn't want to switch. Good thoughts!

Again, the social aspect of the game would come into play. If you move someone out of your tribe it could come back to bite you later (Rob C. was pissed that Dave the rocket scientist got to rearrange everyone, and he made sure Dave got voted out later). The safest answer for both representatives to give would be no, even if they really want to get rid of someone. Spirits are high within a tribe when they win a Challenge and an extraordinary Reward.Sounds like Koror wins. Why would their spirits be so high? They've yet to win reward. If this said Immunity, it'd be Ulong, but it's not. Beav: Proud member of the inoffensive OT Triumvirate.

It is still early in the game, yet signs of tribal division emerge when one group considers banding together to vote out a tribemate. Who is the unlucky one? We already know that Ulong wants to get rid of Kim, so this must be Koror. Coby said in confessional that nine people is too many, and some are starting to grate on each other. It's possible that a faction at Koror (led by Coby?) will discuss throwing the IC to boot someone, especially if they won the RC earlier. I don't think they will do it though. I think this is Koror too, not Ulong. And Coby probably will be the person that starts the conniving to, imo, save his partner in crime, Caryn. The only person that Coby could probably convince the Fab 5 at Koror to boot is Willard (instead of Caryn), who is very weak in water challenges..The only other possibility is Janu if she is "checking out" emotionally... I think Koror does make its may to TC (after winning its first RC) for the first time and the unlucky one is Willard.... we'll have to wait for eyemail to be sure

Zapit TV listings Tensions arise when both tribes are forced to chose a leader for reward challenge; one group considers banding together against another tribe member. CBS Press release { thanks to suvivorfever} CBS Press Release - Episode 4 TRIBAL DIVISION BECOMES APPARENT, ON "SURVIVOR: PALAU," THURSDAY, MARCH 10 ON CBS"Sumo At Sea" -- Tensions arise when both tribes are forced to choose a leader for the reward challenge, on SURVIVOR: PALAU, Thursday, March 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. As the tribes become aggravated by having to choose a leader, they also speculate what role the leader will play. One castaway becomes annoyed with a fellow tribe mate who complains of lack of energy and becomes useless to the tribe. Spirits are high for one tribe after they win the reward challenge and receive an extraordinary reward. Tribal division becomes apparent as one group considers banding together to vote a certain tribe member out. And, the third member is voted out of the tribe. ~puddin~

And, the third member is voted out of the tribe.Huh? If Ulong loses, they are voting their 4th member. If Koror goes, it will be their first. If they know it is Ulong, then they are completely writing off the first week where people got 'eliminated' and not 'voted off' (not true but, hey, I'm trying to get two wrong to make a right here). I agree with you and BR, emy, that this is Koror. I got lost on the Fab 5 concept though.I'm thinking the Fab 5 are: Ian, Tom, Gregg, Jenn, and Katie against Caryn (she feels fulnerable), Coby, Janu (she feels vulnerable), and Willard I can see Coby trying to convince Katie she is going and swing her, but I don't see it happening. I think Katie is smarter than that. LookeeLoo Another Dicey Original 2004

Well, supposedly we are going to see something about this in this week's Ep -- unless it gets relegated to the SurvivorInsider clips, which has happened before with segments advertised in the misdirection.I think the "unlucky" Koror is not going to be the first boot when Koror goes to TC. My guess is that we'll see some talk about booting Caryn this week, since she's already been edited as a major nudge. (Unless they consider booting Jenn for being invisible.) You are right, BR, Caryn is most likely the unluck one this week, but Willard is the ultimate unlucky one next week..I don't think they are talking about Ulong, bc they have so much tribal division already, but the only possibility there IMO is Ibe who may be tired/sick/only nail holder in RC....but ultimately Ulong finally boots the most useless...Kim
