I mentioned a few days ago that this week there’d been a lot of diversity of opinion. You’ll see what I mean below when I give you the numbers. First, however, the numbers related to YOU. This week we have had 22 who posted ratings (down at bit from last week’s 27). Seven new people joined us, though only 2 of last week’s 10 new people came back. Hopefully we’ll have a compelling show this week and EVEYONE will join us and spread the lvoe. For TAR 6 and 7 we’ve had 74 different people stop in at one point or another. On to the ratings. They’re presented as: this week’s rating; name; (last weeks rating) total points this week - average rating this week (first place votes)<last place votes>
1. Brian/Greg (1) 66 – 3.1 (4)<0>
2. Uchenna/Joyce (7) 88 – 4.2 (1)<0>
3. Deb/Bianca (4) 92 – 4.4 (3)<1>
4. Susan/Patrick (2) 95 – 4.5 (3)<2>
5. Lynn/Alex (5) 103 – 4.9 (2)<2>
6. Rob/Amber (3) 104 – 5.0 (7)<8>
7. Meredith/Gretchen (6) 127 – 6.0 (0)<3>
8. Ron/Kelly (8) 134 – 6.4 (1)<2>
9. Ray/Deana (9) 142 – 6.8 (0)<3>
Observations:
1. 7 teams got votes for first and 7 teams received votes for last. That’s a truly diverse sampling of opinion. It’s going to take a little longer for a higher level of consensus to settle in.
2. The brothers are solidly in first, but with an average of 3.1 and only 4 first place votes they aren’t overwhelming favorites. There's no KJ yet in this race.
3. Biggest shocker of the week to me is Uchenna and Joyce shooting from 7th to second. They only had one first place vote and one second, but they were the only other team besides the brothers to not have a last so they end up here in second just a few points ahead of Deb and Bianca.
4. The three bottom teams are solidly there and not many will be sad to see Meredith/Gretchen, Ron/Kelly or Ray/Deana go. The only change here is MG fell from 6th to 7th this week.
5. Second largest drop was two places by Susan and Patrick – they also received two last place votes.
6. AND, now for the team that’s clearly eliciting the MOST emotion so far for TAR 7 – the team that attracts attention like Jonathan and Victoria did on TAR 6 (though there's some positive emotion here) – the team that fell three spots in the standings – the team who is totally average if you look at their average score of 5.0 (that’s exactly in the middle of the rankings from 1 to 9) – the team that generates so much emotion that they had 7 first place votes AND 8 last place votes – that’s 15 first or last and the next most was 4 total by BG. That team, of course, is Rob and Amber. Love ‘em or hate ‘em they are drawing attention in this race. And, as long as they stay I think they’ll continue to draw a real diversity of opinion.
Finally, if you haven’t voted but decide to do so, I’ll update the rankings when I have time.
