zipperhead 3442 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 06-30-06, 04:50 PM (EST) "The judges" Just thought I'd get a little converstaion going about the individual judges. Piers Morgan - Weak. He's nowhere near as biting as Cowell. His "no" votes aren't memorable at all. Some of these people really deserve to get ripped and he's not up to the task. And several times, he has even reversed himself. Very weak. Brandy - Just as bad as Paula Abdul. Wants to send everybody who has an ounce of talent on to the next round. She barely says one disparagaing word to the people who aren't going through. She's had a couple of good lines, but not many. And she's already done too much of that, "You remind me of me when I was your age." You're what, 24? David Hasselfhof - They should have just put two buttons in front of Brandy. I think the only time he voted different than she did was with that female stripper and with Leonid. Besides that, he's ugly and he wears black leather jackets which went out of style in America about ten years ago. BOYmeetsREALITY 308 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Cooking Show Host" 07-05-06, 12:42 PM (EST) 1. "RE: The judges" Hey ZIPPER! I'll jumnp right in, too! First, I have to say that I think they are WAYYYY missing the mark here on this show. Let's just all call it what it really is: THE GONG SHOW 2006!!! (There's even still some hint of "STAR SEARCH" floating around in the background too....) Enough pretending already! The "auditions" are only being aired to drum up some sort of an audience (and a lot of extra advertising cash!) before the real talent show arrives! In my opinion, this could backfire! I HATE HATE HATE poorly produced audition shows, and I am more likely to watch in the future if I know there is some true talent coming up. The little 10-second blurb of "also making it through to the next round were the following 20 people we didn't care enought to show you..." during the credits makes me nuts! Oh well...sorry....on to the original topic.....the judges! They might have just had Phyliss Diller, Don Rickels, Soupy Sales, and all the other great "talent scouts" on there as judges. WHo would have noticed the difference???? Piers Morgan - I agree...Weak. A judge should never, EVER reverse a decision once its made. Where's the credibility in THAT??? It absolutely smells of producer involvement during the commercials and He never should have done it. Brandy - She really IS this show's Paula Abdul. And by the way, Miss "I barely even know who you are"....STOP PUSHING THE OTHER JUDGES' BUTTONS!!! It's annoying and not right. Why do I get the feeling every little girl singer on the show scares the record sales right out of her??? David Hasselfhof - He's only doing this gig because Simon Cowelll and He are actually real life friends. I suspect Simon probably got David to do it in exchange for him painting his deck or something. Anyone else even believe He was still alive before this show aired?? Hoobie 569 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Reality Show Commentator" 07-05-06, 04:53 PM (EST) 2. "RE: The judges" Hey hey hey, Both times I've watched this I've asked myself, "why". Certainly not because of the judges: Piers~ He's OK. Forgettable. In fact, I forget his last name already. His "I think you're the worst singer I've EVER heard" was to try to imitate Simon, but at least pick different words to do it. He reminds me of that smarmy uncle. Brandy~ UGH. All I can think of when I look at her is how she got pregnant out of wedlock, and then faked a marriage to preserve her "image". As if ANYONE cared. I don't think she's trying to be too nice. In fact, she defers having to say no by getting both guys to say no first. This happens a lot. Also - is it just me or is she cross-eyed? David~ I actually kinda like the guy. "RE: The judges" Is this show supposed to grab the attention span of the average young person? When your host is an aging Regis and Judges like David ToOldenoff and Brandy my earing are to big and Peirs to boring I have a hard time watching the whole show. HA HA HA Im in the HOUSE!!!!
