"Season 3 Tryout Ep 2"
Okay, I only caught bits of this one as I was doing other stuff tonight, I'll review the tape when Top Chef or Survivor would have been on during real TV seasons.

Dancing cowboys. Are cowboys in again? I had to laugh they were DC cowboys.

Family band was okay, liked it better before they started singing.

That's all I got for now.

Cowboy dancers were good but not million dollar good. They weren't all together all the time.
Same with family musicians- not million dollar good.
Wasn't as impressed with the woman who sang (cancer survivor) as the jidges were.
All the magician failures were funny.
The illusionist (man/wife) were good.
The brick buster was good, but even tho that can be considered a talent, it just doesn't fit for me. Wonder what he can bring for next time.

that's all I remember.
E: I can't believe I forgot the Elvis guy! He was really good. But for talent I like originality - not impersonations.

I've already made up my mind - the opera guy from Missouri is the winner - IMO.

Snidget put me on the cover!

The only think I was thinking when the cowboys was on was that I wished the camera person would focus on a better booty then the one they kept focusing on.

I liked a lot of the acts on this audition.

Some of my favorites...

Eli singing and playing "Walkin' in Memphis". I really liked his voice and loved the confidence he gave out.

Cassie and the 'grinding' act. I liked it but not so sure if it is worth a million. Although I can see something like this being in Vegas.

Lil Countrie and Page-The Breakers/Tumblers. I really liked them and felt that they were great. The helicopter thing on top of his head...wow.

Next II None-Not to much into boy bands, and as much as I do not think singers should be on this show, I liked them. I liked the chroeography and the remix of the song.

Pendragons- All I could think was how did she change clothes so fast. I really liked them.

Joseph-Elvis. I loved him and watched him twice. I think it takes a lot to impersonate someone and get it right and I think he did.

Russian Bar Trio- This was my favorite of the night. I totally can see this in Vegas, and honestly it was amazing. It had the whole WOW factor. Awesome!

Warcrack, it's not for kids.

Eli Mattson-where was he when American Idol was taking try outs?? Was he turned down, or just too old?? He was probably one of the turn-downs-I wouldn't be surprised!! He was great!!! IMHO, of course.

I did like the illusionist, but again, not a mil's worth. So far, really haven't seen many that were worth that much yet. The brick/fire guy? Why would he get that much money for breaking bricks and burning himself? That's just wierd to me. I know I wouldn't pay money to see him. Oh well.....And the dancing Cowboys-they are a novelty that I feel, would go dull pretty quickly, and only be catering to a small group of people (Sharon and her type, of course!). Not a family outing, that's for sure!

I dunno.....it'll be interesting to see who has the whole package. The cancer survivor was 'ok'. Not a mil's worth, either, in my opinion. Unless she has something up her sleeve that just hasn't come out yet. I really loved the 4 y/o, but again, how many amazing singers are there out there? We just saw David Cooke get boosted to the top of the game, so I think most of us want something new and fresh, don't you??? Just wondering.....

5. "RE: Season 3 Tryout Ep 2"
My thoughts on Audition Episode #2....Not too much wowed me again. I'm getting worried about this season.

* To me, Eli was the standout when he sang "Walking In Memphis". His voice is incredibly unique, and the emotion he brought forth in that performance was amazing.
* What was so special about the dancing cowboys? I found them dull and boring.
* I have to agree, the Elvis impersonator brought something "new" to the act.
* The New Orleans tumblers were "front runners"?? Piers??
* The Pendragons. Mixed feelings on them. Yes, they have a great backstory, but is there anyone who hasn't see the "Metamorphosis" trick about 3 dozen times? Nothing new there, in my opinion.
* The "Russian Bar" circus act...meh. How can they expand on that? Again, didn't wow me.

Again this week...I'm eagerly awaiting some WOWS next week.

Finally got through the episode on the TiVo. I tell you, that's the only way to watch this show-- fast forward through the large amount of filler and watch the acts and judge commentary.

And I didn't see a million-dollar winner this episode.

The New Orleans tumblers were good, I liked the illusionist couple, and the Elvis impersonator was worthy too. But I don't see any of them as eventual winners. Otherwise, the brick-smasher and industrial grinder girl are one-hit wonders who won't be able to keep up the momentum, and the musical family were mediocre players and terrible singers.

Overall, America didn't have much talent in this episode.
