Is Boy Shikira the most talented person in America? Leonid?!?! Weird Bollywood dancer guy? THAT is what you think makes good TV? Then you send home really talented acts like Megan Miller - the Miss America's Outstanding teen from 2005 and double ventriloquist and singer. Send home the baton twirler who you said was the best act of the night? Get rid of the dancers with the masks? Thank you for freeing up my Tivo list. The judges have proved that they have no interest in actually finding the best talent in America. They want to put on a freak show. Well, they can do it without me. The baton twirler was spectacular tonight, definately deserved to move on to the next round. And, really, even making allowances for Brit humor and their historic love of drag, RuPaul has nothing to worry about. Manshakira doesn't have a prayer of winning, there's really no reason to pass that on to the next round while dumping truly deserving acts. "RE: Done" As you know from a previous post, I was totally shocked that man-Shakira was even on, and then to be passed on to the Vegas round just blew me away. I think a lot of this weirdness has to do with having Sharon Osborne on the show, to be honest with you!! She is the one who jumped up and down for joy when Leonid the Magnificent (Freak who gives me nighmares-LITERALLY!) was on, and declared him the next leader of NY's Gay Parade. It certainly wasn't David, who actually left his seat to cool off! I know that the Brit's have a strange way of seeing things, but I also know that living with Ozzy all those years would HAVE to distort your mind in some way! Think of all the crazy things she and her family have been exposed to in the name of Rock and Roll....... Anyway, yes, it is total hogwash, and I agree-if man-S. and Leonid the Crapfest is not booted next round, it's over for me, too. Actually, I may just finish it off now, since they have already let them through. I know they're looking for 'different' acts, but come on! On another note-felt really bad for the kid who fell and obviously had a concussion. Thank God he didn't literally break his neck! When I saw each of those three in groups with others that I really thought should be kpet, I actually thought those 'others' were going to be cut! I was shocked that they would keep even one of those three - much less all three of them! And yet they cut some really talented people - those with REAL talent. That weird dancer guy was just stupid. (I have no idea WHY that is even considered dancing - but I don't know what else it could be called either - doesn't say much for and gives a bad image for real dancers, doesn't it?) I may watch next just to see if they cut them before the final 20. If any of these get to the final 20, that will be the last of AGT for me. I was disappointed to see Byron (the black guy who used to be a backup singer) cut; I thought he was good. But such is life. But please, for the love of Pete, CUT BOY SHAKIRA. Who the fvck does he/she/it think he/she/it is? This is not a million-dollar talent? Hell, if Boy Shakira were a street performer, he/she/it wouldn't get a dime except from weirdos. People like Sharon Osbourne, who has spent way too long around Ozzy to have any sense left, and Piers Morgan, whose concept of "good taste" is extremely questionable. Yes, I thought the Glamazons were good, too, and I happen to share, to an extent, his taste in ladies. But it's too bad NBC has this show instead of CBS; if it were on the correct network, people could hold up signs that bold the C, B, and S in "Cut Boy Shakira." Oh...wait, she married a freak, didn't she? My husband said he was officially over this show now. I'll watch one more round, but my interest is waning, too. However they cut (pun?) the one who escaped the water tank - who put his assistant in the tank in his place. However, last night after they put through some crap acts, i.e. the blond bimbo Shakira guy and cut some really good entertainment, I turned it off mid-stream, and I won't watch it again. I never thought I'd say this, because I really have liked her in the past, but Sharon needs a new life. She has no idea what real talent is. I live in Vegas, and Mr. I have no talent Shakira was shaking his butt at Fremont Street and believe me he has no redeemable talent what-so-ever.
