The "remain logged in" function does not work, in fact it kicks you out. If you are new here or haven't been around for awhile, that may be why you are having trouble.

If that's not it and you are having trouble, we also had a hacker in January who messed up a lot of accounts. You may be able to recover your account, or you may have to establish a new account. See

I got to watch it this morning and was impressed with the first act of the kid on the piano and I couldn't believe that 93 yr old man could pull that car.
I have to say that the mime was my favorite once I seen the end part.

Good to be back on the forum and even better to be watching one of my favorite shows. below I offer a recap of my thoughts on the premier....

Adrian Piano Playing Kid Genius- Cool just soooooooo cool. Kid has star potential. I want to see him play classical. And then he does. Holy Crap. Starting the show off with a bang. And I remember why I dislike Mel. I want to hear him play not talk to the judges.
Montage #1
Ok clogging act nothing we haven't seen before.
Very nice balance/dance act
Good acrobat dance comedy act

Montage #2
Bad comic after bad comic meaning we are likely to see a good one to compare

Dan Natterman- Good not great. Def no Tom Cotter or Taylor Williamson. Maybe the great ones all went to Last Comic Standing. Howie spot on on his seinfeld jon levitz comment.

rrrrrrrrocarde hand-balancing old guy (and carlos)- good rrrrrrrraport with the judges. (always appreciated) This guy is sick. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Guy is bending over backwards above the X's. and does the splits on the dismount. rrrrrrrrrridculously good. act of the night so far.

Donny Valentine- From the opening clip I cant tell if this will be a joke act or not. OK so JOKE ACT. Horrid NO NO NO. Falsetto is not a talent if you are not on pitch. Please God NO.

Montage #3
Judges being unfunny
Nick taking a ride on muscle lady
I liked the funny head slappers. judges did not. especially after howie got himself involved
Hey...hooping is tough

Montage #4
dancing, knife throwing, pin-pong and bells oh my!!
creepy Mel bedtime story

Mike Greenstein 93 yr old strong man- This is why I love this show. Kid brother only 83. and his lady friend hilarious. He wont make it far because its kind of a one trick pony but what a trick and I love Mike.

apparently orville redenbacher dropped their sponsorship. Awwwww. But don't worry Reddi Whip is here to save the day.

Ashley and Alana siger duo Acte II- meh decent opera singers. Nothing spectactular.

Montage #5
judges disagreeing on some pretty ho hum acts

Dustin StoJo and Terry- This guy is hilarious. The deadpan is amazing. In hollywood there are many attackers. Please someone save these guys. YES!!!!!!! We all know Heidi has no sense of humor (right Taylords) but come on Mel. Thank god for Howard but I wish Howie had been the one to save them. Who knows what act Howie will save I still remember the Yodel lady.

Montage #6
Some great Dancing troupes with a classical act to come

Nick and rachel aka Blue Journey- These guy apparently just met. Very awkward pair. Choreographed by David Mendendorf no less. LOL. Wow just Wow. creativity reminds me of Kenichi Ebina from last year. dancing was really good too. Can they keep it up. If they can I foresee a finalist.

The Mime- Not doing much miming. just flailing about on stage. Judges right on with comments. Mimes don't talk. someone stop the evil mime.Holy crap I did not see that coming. Great job Nick. That is why he is the best host on television.

Jaycob Curlee sob-story singer- Wah wah wah. God I hate sob stories. BUT lets see if he can sing. Good song. Interesting arrangement. haunting voice. a few mistakes early due possibly to nerves. I like him. Will likely go far.

Great Premier. Good to be back.

Acts of the night....
1. Blue Journey
2. Rocarde (and Carlos)
3. Dustin and Terry

Im a little late but here's my recap for week 2 of auditions

Americas Got Talent
6/3/14

Willis Clan- adorable group. Kinda drivning into the curve singing a song from sound of music. instrumentation was great singing was ok. The lead singer kinda over powered everyone else. Meh

Instead of seeing some of the city and acts we get a 2 minute montage of Howie acting annoying. sigh. Where are we even at this week.

David and Leeman- Dualing magicians, This could be cool. Pseudo science. touching howies head this is awesome. How are they doing this lol. Once again with magic its not the trick...its the PRESENTATION.

Julia Goodwin- 15 yr old singer. Um hmmmmm. Not my type of song. She's good but nothing special. With some training I think she could be great.

Shawn and Luke- Ahoy dual tap dancers. not a lotta tap at first. Music is too loud to really appreciate the tap. Meh the ladies seem to love them but lets see what the judges thought. Howard saying exactly what I thought. They make it through with every other judge giving them a yes.

Martial Ars Montage-
These acts always end up as quarter final fodder

Grand Master Qi Felong- Kung Fu Master and Energy Healer.....(cough hach cough). and silent translator. He did stop the clock. he did chop the sticks but I do not believe in his schtich. thank god howie did not use his golden buzzer.

I know the big act today is this motorcycle stunt they have been previewing but Im not a huge fan of this type of act. Speak of the devil....

Real Encounter- Not porn stars ministry. Bike Stunts for Jesus...OK. Lets see what they got. Woah. Thats some serious height in some limited space. I change my mind SEND THEM ON.

Jump Montage
SLAM- That was crazy kid trampoline basketball team, Awesome
flightcrew jumprope- fun exciting jump rope act
X Pogo Stunt team- Pretty good pogo act

open with kid rapper why do we not get his name

Kid Montage- Not a fan of most kid acts because they do not get judged on their talent but on their cuteness

Dominic and siblings-Kid card throwing. This could be horribble or great. whoa. Hes getting some air on that. Bring on Nick for the Finale. Well done. Obviously not a pro but he has the stage presence and charisma for this type of act.

Oooh Magic Montage-
Bad magic. all in the presentation folks. The bra trick was funny but no

Mad Jack- He seems like he has the stage presence to pull it off. Plus he looks like a piraate. Hahahaha. awwww =(. I liked it but it was a bit slow.

Miguel Dakota- Another sob story guitarist. Deja Vu from last week. Wow. Nice song choice good voice. I do like how he didnt harp on the sob story.

Abagail -Artistic Aerial Act, Very cool. Almost takes away from the strength and control an act like that takes. I love original stuff like this. Its why I watch the show.

Jon and Andrew- Very Straight and Very Gay Salsa Dancers. are you sure buddy??? Wow those spins are making me dizzy. Great job.

Not as good as last overall.....

Acts of the night....
1.David and Leeman
2.Abagail
3.Real Encounters

Americas Got Talent
6/10/14

Normally I do a full write up of each episode but last week we had tornado coverage through the couple so I had to go back and watch. This was by far the best week. So I will forego my usual post and just give a top ten acts of the night.

Honorable mention moments: There was a decent comedian who told pet storie. she was ok. still haven't found our taylor or tom runner up yet. Both dance act were good but I think the camo dancers may have got away with less than crisp chorography. I mean how can you tell. great idea though. Also Mel B unplugging the buzzer has got to be the judges moment of the season. anyway on to the list.

10. Stasia Popavich and her cats- If you can get a cat to do anything like that I am impressed. You got the felling she was mind controing them and they were just waiting for their chance at vengence.

9. Anna Clending- I feel bad putting her this low because she has a great voice. But I didn't like the arrangement. I love the song choice but "Hallelujah" plays best as a soft soothing lament not a power ballad at least until the final chorus.

8. John Vincent and Mudslinger- Im not a huge fan of animal acts as they can go so wrong so easy. But mudslinger was perfect and watching heidi french kiss a pig would have earned him 3 yeses even if he had stunk up the joint. What will they do next I wonder?

7. Kamikazee Fireflies- I really really love this act. For one thing they had MONDO stage presence (a must have in juggling acts). Effective use of Nick. An added touch of danger. Nick is not a trained pro people. Yet they kept it simple enough you know they have more to show us.

6. Atlanta Professional Dance Academy- This was just beautiful. No other words. The only question is do they have other styles and routines as good as this. Or did they bloom to early.

5. Aaron J. Field- Take note NBC. Some of your best talent is resorting to ridiculous costumes to be seen. Please don't waste ur time with crap like the twerker or howies wig when you got pipes like these waiting in the wing. This guy could go far.

4. Smoothini- Some really amazing stuff. I thought I caught how he did one card trick but the stuff with the salt and the pen were so smooth I as just mesmerized. Hopefully he can bring the magic all the way to the finals.

3. Bob Markworth and his golddigger ahem I mean assistant. Everything i said about kamikazee goes double for bob. More danger. More humor. More skill. More polished. If he doesnt run out of tricks this guy could be hard to beat.

2. Andrey Moraru- Strength and balancing acts have always fascinated me. How the heck did he do some of that. I know drom the previews we hae another one coming up next week. This could be a tough category this year. Can't wait to see more.

and the number one act of the night is......

1. Sons of Serendip- My favorite act of the season so far. Their song was so perfect at first I thought it was the backing track of the montage. Again this is why I watch this chow a string trio and vocl quartet. I am outraged we did not get to hear the whole set. we could have cut that bland sob stoy guy at the end. GO SoS!!!!!

Looking forward to more talent and hopefully the end of auditions. The Live shows are where this show really gets going.

7. "RE: Season 9 Welcome/Welcome Back Thread"
Hi, all. Sorry, didn't intend to start this thread and then vanish for awhile. Got caught up in a few projects, including purging a lot from the ol' 'puter -- and, well, I haven't been caught up on the season since the start.

Like the Golden Buzzer idea, maybe that can be the next way Probst finds to wreck Survivor. Anyway, my impressions of some of the acts I've seen so far.

ep 1

Adrian Romoff (pianist). This precocious nine year-old Sheldon Cooper in the making could be annoying if he gets through to the live shows. HIs initial audition was a horrible mess, but they gave him another chance and there's no denying he has talent.

Dan Natarman (standup comic). I laughed.

Mike Greenstein (octogenerian muscleman). I don't see much future for this act, but sure let's send a crotchety gramps to Vegas to yell at the young'ns.

Acte II (opera duo). Individually they seemed like so-so-singers, but together they are greater than the sum of their parts. Easy on the eyes, too.

Dustin's Dojo (comedy act). Glad Howard used the Golden Buzzer to send them through, it was very funny and obviously more developed than just kids playing at Stooges in the rec room.

Blue Journey (techno dance duo). Interesting concept, want to see what they do next.

Jaycob Curlee (singer with foster kid sob story). He was okay.

ep 2

The Willis Clan (12-piece family "band"). The little ones were tremendously cute and completely untalented otherwise. Still, it was a good act.

David and Leeman (magicians). Amusing as it was, I got the impression that "volunteer" Howie was in on the gag, so I'm not holding out much hope for these guys.

Julia Goodwin (teen singer). Very good singer, very well trained.

Sean and Luke (tappers). Sorry, I enjoy a good tap dance but these guys bombed as far as I am concerned. Some neat moves, but one of the hallmarks of tap is actually being able to hear the tapping and follow the precision, very lacking.

Master Qi (whatever he was). That was hilarious, wish they'd sent him to the next round just so we could see what he would come up with. Oh well.

Real Encounter (action stunt team). Yawn. Too much going on at once.

Slam (Bball stunt team). Seemed like the typical audition for one of those.

Flight Crew Jumprope. We've seen better.

Xpogo Stunt Team. Okay, that was impressive.

Dom the Bom's Triple Threat (triplets with cards). Only in the 2nd grade and already they've peaked.

Miguel Dakota (musician). Okay singer, benefitted from an excellent song choice and really got the audience into it.

Aerial Animation. Neat idea, I was thoroughly unimpressed by the *ahem* "talent."

John and Andrew (male-male salsa dancers). Yeah, they were good. And they weren't even this year's entants from the Miami Dance Mafia!

8. "Alert*Alert*Alert"
My TV programming guide is showing the next episode being this Sunday! Followed by another on Tuesday! Okay, enough alarming stuff.

ep 3

I love this show. Even in the audition eps with all the frustrating stuff and time-wasting, they can pull off some of their best surprises.

Kamikaze Fireflies (variety fair performers). Good novelty act, I liked how they worked the crowd and involved Nick. Good thing it was Nick rather than Regis or Jerry, that's one of the biggest things in Nick's favor, he really is up for much of anything that comes his way.

Hart Dance Team (aka Hannah & Savannah & their clones). That was a great concept, too bad the AGT wizards blew the surprise in the promos. Still, these kids pulled off a wonderful performance.

Extreme Dance Company (dance group) and The Team )all-male dance group). Well, what they showed us of their performances was solid, darn shame they didn't show more. Down, ladies.

Stylish Talent (twerker). Well, she did twerk the room pretty well. It was fun but I get the feeling that's all she's got.

Jodi Miller (comedienne). Good set, and I liked how she started working it before she even started her set.

Bob Markworth and Mayana (archer). He's the showman but she's the show, hope they can step it up from here on out. If not, I won't be surprised.

Mary Louise Lee (singer). Wow, this woman has pipes! And they only usede her as intro to the next singer?

Anna Clendening (singer). Very moving story, very touching performance, I'll even forgive the song choice as she was otherwise way outside her safety zone. And Howard got the chills, oooo. Very good singer, actually. Not the best, not even the best in this set (see previous). But I hope she does well. Not a million dolla well, but well.

Anastasia Popovich Comedy Pet Theater. Trained cats! It was cute, this act is doomed to an eventual disaster.

John Vincent and Mudslinger/Top Hogs. GOAL! Loved it from start to finish, the patriotic music and stuff was especially smart.

Atlanta Professional Dance Academy. Beautiful, just amazingly wonderfully beautiful.

Aaron J. Field (singer). Wonderful voice, terrible uniform. Enjoyed it, but he missed a great opportunity by not selecting a uniform appropriate song.

Sons of Serendip (musical group). Left me wanting more.

Andrey Moraru (hand balancer). Excellent set.

unnamed magician and Patrick something-r-other (magic acts). Didn't see enough of these to really form an opinion, seemed okay.

Smoothini the Ghetto Houdini (bar magician). Very impressive close magic performance, almost seemless.

Justin Rhodes (musician/singer). Not the best voice but he makes the best of what he's got.

Well, I'm finally caught up, and now the guide is telling me the Sunday ep will be repeated on Tuesday. Whew!

ep 4

Emily West (singer). Good voice, safe song.

Duo Trapeze (girl-girl). Entertaining.

Carly Jo Jackson (singer). Didn't seem all that special to me.

Orlene (juggler). I'll admit it, I'd like to see her juggle the kids. Long as they aren't babies, that would creep me out.

Baila Commigo (salsa dance group). It was good but when all those kids came out the editing got messy over the cuteys gimmick.

Rachel Batera (impressionist). Enjoyed the set, hope she can do voices with other than New Yawk/Joisey accents.

Legaci (boy band). Wonderful singing, simple choreography, want to see if they can do better. Shut up, Mel.

Mat Franco (magician). Good smart routine.

Paul Ieti (singer). Not my flavor, didn't like it, but the private got hugs all over and an aw shucks pass to the next round.

Christian Stoinev (hand balancer). On one finger? Wow! Switching hands? Wow and wow and wow and just wow. I love it when they wow me, and that was a

WOW!

And then the montage of got through but the editors screwed us viewers by chopping their performances to bare moments: Eugeny (slack wire performer), Bad Boys of the Ballet (and Ballerina), Keiran and Finian (two-man band).

Grace Ann Gregorio (singer). Not my flavor, but at least she actually is talented.

Maggie Lane (opera singer). With stunt bikini! Beautiful singer and bikini show knockout, loved the whole package, you go girl!

Montage of young dancers, group of young dancers, Rubik's foot.

JOsh Orlian (12 year-old stand-up). Yeah, teen boys are all that way, they really can't help it. Very rough around the edges, needs stronger material, but it was a good start and he should benefit from the AGT experience.

Laura Dasi (aerialist). Crazy good, especially considering she only started doing this a few years ago for therapeutic reasons. Judges were impressed before she even told her sob story.

Completely agree, and to me it seems such a terrible waste, particularly since they spend so much time on nonsense. Consider:

In a typical two hour program, taking out time for commercials, you have approximately 1 hour and 24 minutes of show. But if you total it up, in this episode you had 21 minutes of performance from acts that are going to the next round, not including the acts shafted by montage presentations. Granted, the walk-on intros and post-performance judging are worthwhile time spent as well, and including the time spent on acts that were not worthy of going on, you have maybe 45 minutes of worthwhile viewing in the episode, just a bit over half the actual episode time.

There is really no reason why they couldn't present more talent and less time-wasters, and especially no reason to shaft any act cut chopping it down editing for time.

The sure sign that summer is here and all chaos is breaking loose...

I'm already tired of kids and singers. I haven't seen enough comedians, but the up-close magic acts have been engaging. In a way it's like waiting for the other shoe to drop--what's been held back for the next round?

I'm hoping for water skiing alligators playing Flight of the Bumblebee on home whittled kazoos...

14. "RE: Season 9 Welcome/Welcome Back Thread"
6/17/14

Sorry I got a bit behind with these recaps. But I was dreading doing this particular episode. After the amazing amounts of great acts last week they really underwhelmed this week. A bunch of mediocre singers and just weirdness. So its gonna be a quick post beore I move on to Sunday's much better special episode.

The intro was weird today. As I noted earlier the locations mean even less than usual. They don't even try to hide that the acts are jumbled this year as you see multiple costume changes each episode. The POV would have been cool if it wasn't complete staged and led to one of the most blah acts of the night.

Emily West- Weird dress. haunting voice. but did not hold up. she got really pithcy there at the end.

Duo Trapeze would have been more impressive if I had seen them earlier this year. But the amount of talent in their category is insane this year. I would not be surprised if a circus type act won it all this year. but it wont be these too.

Carly Jo Jackso....boring....NEXT

Orlene Gentile- foot juggler would have been cooler if we had seen her whole act

Bailla Conmigo- They dance fast but not together. Seen much better types of act on this show. I would have rather seen another iteration of the Miami AllStars than these guys. And bringing kids in to save your bacon makes me sick. BOOOOOOO!

Rachel Butera- OK impressionist but not that funny. meh.

Legaci- Finally a good act. While not the most amazing singing group we have seen it was at least entertaining and these guys no how to own a stage. They could go far.

Matt Franco- Another close up magician will he be as good as Smoothini. Nope. He just stacked a deck and told a generic not funny story. Pass

Paul Leti- Soldier singer. I was immidiately turned off by his intro story and he obviously suffered from nerves BUT the guy CAN SING. welldone just get your nerves under control

SPEAKING OF NERVES. I'ts time for a mid episode rant. I have heard that the vegas round has turned into another set of live performances in new york. I am not cool with this. I always thought Vegas week was one of the best thing the show did. You put the acts alone with no audience to encourage and the judges just sitting there scowling at you. they give very little feedback and it has to be psychologically gruelling. It gives the producers a chance before doing the live shows a chance to test the contestants nerves. It also pairs the contestants up into groups so we can tell who is better than who. I will miss it if it truly is gone. Anyway back to the recap.

Now we are talking...

Christian Stoinev- Remember when I said the circus acts are bringing it. This guy balances on one finger in a champagne bottle (great themeing by the way). Then he spins himself around on one hand. Clearly the best category of the year.

A Montage of acts that were all better than the first half of the show. Bad Boys of Ballet a slack wire act and and a two man band singing Sting. Nicely done AGT how will you follow this up.

REALLY....REALLY!!!!!!!

you follow 5 great acts with an 11 year old opera singer....who outsings a personal trainer in a bikkinni who claims to sing opera.....a kid who solves rubiks cube (as someone who can do it albeit not with my feet that is not a talent) and finally a 12 year old telling the sort of bad one liners that fill the hall of every middle school in america. Seriously we sent him on what is wrong with us. If a 30 year old did that he would have got booed off the stage. GRR

Im gonna finish this off real quick we also had a funny guy attempt to play the keytar and vocalize dancin in the street. still better than the 12 year old or the bikkin chickc but not quite as bad as the lady who tried to teach howard to sing. Again not a talent go sit next to rubiks cube kid lady.

Thankfully we got one final great act to close out this lackluster evening. Laura Desi provides with one of the few truly touching back stories and the way she gets into the performance was breathtaking. She isn't the best aerialist we have seen but she certinley made you feel the music.

Probably the weakest of the shows but hey you had to come down off the high that was last week.

Americas Got Talent
6/15/2014

What is up with the intros this year. Last week we had that weird POV thing now we get a montage of cities the show wasn't even at. Its a fine song and showcases America but I miss the days of nick hanging off the statue of liberty or golden gate bridge. Oh well on to acts.

Psychic Divas of New York- Oh dear God. These two may be worse than the singing coach from last week. Just horrible. Nice to hear the ghostbusters theme again. and speaking of Ghosts....

Mike Super (and Desmond)- a Mystic who doesnt want to be called a magician. I actually like this guy. I am hoping that this is all a show and he's not a loony who really believes in ghosts cause that was a neat trick. It would have been better if the ending wasn't spoiled. Much like special head last year the promo department screwed this guy out of a great shock moment. Interested in seeing what this guy does next. GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!

And now we get POWER OF LOVE. AGT is really rocking the 80's movies this week

Valo & Bobby (yeah NBC I couldnt spell it either)- Another circus act. Umm the fact I could see the safety line really hurts this act. I know it probably was him balancing that contraption but part of me says it was all a show. They will need to step it up if they want to beat some of the other aerial and balancing acts.

Montage time:

Mock men: Back drop dance troup. The main dancer was very good but the background guys didnt seem to do much. could have been the edit though.

Robert Channing: twisty speed painter almost put howard to sleep. Very cool slow-mo shot. Another act that got ruined by the promos.

Jonathon Ricalman- I have seen his type of act before on this show. but he took it up to eleven. Not sure how he tops that.

We come back from commercial on some crazy costumed dancers (wish I could have seen that)

Mary Justine- Kid singer. Umm this one is stuff. She hit the big notes but I dont like when a young kid tries to emulate a singer like that. be true to yourself kid and just sing a song. She is likable but that means America will vote for her whether she deserves it or not. For now I'm witholding judgement. AND GET MOM OFF THE STAGE!!!!!

Juan Carlos- Rollerblade Dancer. I am predisposed to like this act as I love skating. Its a party til spoilsport howard hits his buzzer. Good to see the judges finally arguing. This is why mel and heidi ruin the show. we could have a second golden buzzer but heidi just gives into pressure. Still great to see him move on. Mel surprisingly gives the best comments. He is not the best skater but America will like him.

Nina- Contortionist. This stuff freaks me out. But lets give it a shot. That is sick nasty. WOW. and that push-up in the middle was insane. Crazy. Just crazy. then 4 young girls do some more contortion.

Contortion sisters- Awwww that leg bend is gonna stick in my mind forever. Then one of the girls acts as a belt for nick.

ah I was missing the Radio City Music Hall pimiping montage.

Dariell and Emille- Twin Cellists. I love string instruments. I hope these guys do well. pretty deent backstory too. Not too boring not too sappy. Did not see that coming. Electric Cellos.
They worked well off each other. I prefer the softer side of strings myself but what they are doing will win them votes.

One Voice Childrens Chrior- That's a lot of kids. "Let me tell you of a few child actors who left it to the grown-ups" good one Howard. Ugh they are not matching well. I would have Xed them . My TV went out midway thank the lord but I was told they went through. Dissapointing

Arlo Pelegrin- Spider guy. Ugh I do not like spiders. Holy Crap AGT did you just hit us with some Bearl Ives" Ugly Bug Ball". You should all look that up on youtube. They are killing it with the music selections. The girls he showed his spiders to reacted just like I would. Chilean Rose colored tarantulas. "Whats in the Box!!!!!!" Mels havin a rough night spiders and psychics. Heidi holding it like a champ. I actually liked this guy. He should have moved on just to see what else he would do.

Nature Montage:

Jungle Jim swallows cockraoaches. XXXX
Plant Music.....WHAT???????
Cactus Eating.....WHAT????? idiot got spikes in his throat, Moron.

Kid Montage:
Why couldn't we see the good kids chrior?
kid dancers.
Grenin the green monster- kid knife thrower. How do you start this??? kid has stage presence. Obviously still green, But kid has potential send him on.

Rock Hard Review- Male Dance Group. OK group but Howie taking off his shirt made the act. best hashtag of the season. #HowieShaves. And no use of the Golden Buzzer. Seriously girls if you like them use the buzzer. what a waste of a twist.

Old People Montage.

Frank Demitri- 74 year old singer. oooh like the song choice. Wow what a voice. Amazing how a stutter goes away as soon as you start singing. Wow great last note. I lik-like you frank. see NBC you let us see their talent first then let us know the personnal stories later after we care. Very effective package.

One more grueling Night of Auditions left.

LAST EDITED ON 06-27-14 AT 12:06 PM (EST)

Well, ep. 5 (on Sunday then again on Tuesday) was a mixed bag, though overall I thought it a bit better than average for the audition episodes. Could have done without the live stunts nonsense during the Sunday airing.

Mike Super, mystifier. That was a long way to go for basically one trick, but well presented.

Valo & Bobby, strongman/acrobat. This was a big WOW! from me, seemed incredibly dangerous as well.

Mothmen Dance. Seemed like good dancers, the wire gimmick makes it seem more a stunt act. Entertaining in a Peter Pan Spider-Man limited way. But the body mechanics were impressive.

Robert Channing, speed painter. Pretty good for one of those, but I enjoy trying to follow it throughout these sort of acts and his gimmick made that impossible.

Jonatan Riquelme, acrobat/balancer. Good performance. This category of performer is exploding onto the scene this year, he has some serious competition.

Mara Justine (11), singer. Incredible natural gift, but no finesse, starts way up here at this belting level and that's where it stays. I didn't want to hear more.

Jaun Carlos, rollerblade dancer. Okay, that was amusing.

Nina Burri, solo contortionist. Very good, needs a better outfit.

Byambas Contortion Girls (kids). I'm less impressed with children being able to do contortion than adults, but I have to admit the group set worked very well.

Contortion Sisters. These ladies really made it fun, good for them.

Emil & Darius, teen cellists. Rock On! Don't know where they go from taking on Hendrix, looking forward to seeing them again.

One Voice Childrens Choir. Aw... It was okay. Good for Mel, she gave them honest criticism, should have stuck to her guns. Bought their ticket mainly on the aw factor.

Waste of time montage of gross and just plain weird, then a few more unnamed acts, if you are going to watch on FF you may as well skip these bits to get to ...

Grennan the Green Monster (8), knife thrower. Actually, you can skip this one too, I wish the judges had told him to go home.

Then we saw two gorgeous ladies walk on stage looking like themselves, but whatever their act was we weren't shown a second of it.

Rock Hard Revue. Didn't make it to bootcamp but good eyecandy for you ladies watching on FF.

Frank the Singer Dimitri, the stuttering wonder. Old guy really can sing, good way to finish off the evening.

Final Night of Auditions. Time to make it or break it apparently. That was probably the best intro yet. Heidi driving and the judges reactions were hilarious.

Rogue- Up first is a magician. Hey your not Rogue. Rogue is a smoking hotty on the x-men. His stage presence is not great. But he chose the right judge. Mel's panic built well with his energy and made a fairly simple trick look great. Mel realizing they all shake early candidate for moment of the night.

Strength Act Montage
dude breaks a bat with his back and chews a liscence plate.
Quintavius- why is there a singer in this montage.
Brian Panke balances couch on his chin then eats apples as he juggles them
Maxiana crossdresser sings um was this just the randomn crap montage. they should have put rubiks cube kid in here. Only Brian really has a chance to impress in further rounds.

Hudson Brothers- Comedy rap. uh what is up with the crossdressing. Um I don't know what Ratchet is. Im with Howard unimpressed. BUT I think with different material they COULD be good. Could we finally see another golden buzzer or will heidi crave. YES finally. second comedy act to be saved by the buzzer.

Rattle snake eater. total waste of time.

Luke Rawlins- This guy looks like he means business. Im excited to see this but not sure what else he will do. Woah. Woah woah woah. WOAH. FIRE. This is why I LOVE THIS SHOW.

great band coming back from commercial. I like original music as well. Wish I knew who they were. Thanks a bunch NBC

Beach Avenue.- ah this is why. either this is the good one or this is the sad one. Love the intro song though. I like the xylophone. catchy. I like em but Howie has a point about original music. AMERICA MAKES DUMB DECISIONS. That must always be taken into account.

Another band. Good song. Nice instrumentation. But Not a huge fan of the voals. Another no name.

Joe Matarese- stand up comedian. could he be our runner-up. decent material. Best comic so far but no Taylor or Tom. If you guys want comedy check out Joe Machhi on Last Comic Standing.

Sal Gonzalez- Guitarist. You lost me as soon as you showed your injury before singing. Sing first then give your back story. I hope hes good and I dont have to insult a marine. ummm he's ok. nothing special. sorry buddy no extra points from me. Howard says exactly what worries me. I can appreciate his opinion but I disagree.

Umm Nick your not sponsored by orville reddenbachers. dont say lets get popping

Joe the birdman- Animal act. this could be great or horrid. that laugh was hilarous. OMG that bird sang. EVIL BIRD laugh. great act.

Josh Wright- Weird pianist. umm sure. I guess.

Taska and her ruuseer- seen it before but it was well done. we will she what else she can do.

Birthday nonsense. and product placement. hello reddiwhip. hello snapple. where are the acts.

Trio of pop and lockers. Havent seen this yet this year. Great but once again no name.

Kelly Glover- umm no one loves being a waitress. oh a Pieres cameo. I miss him. Howard is good but Pieres kept the contestants on their toes. Wow good singer. She could go far. there at the end I think she cut out a bit.

Derrick Santos- Security guard comedian. not very intimidating for a security guard. This guy is funny and he hasn't even started his set. PUNS PUNS PUNS! YES YES YES!!!!. its all in the delivery and this guy has it. Loved it. Of course Heidi no humor has to rain on the parade. don't clap you sea hag.

K. Lyn Baker- Secretary. Oh no the susan boyle music. Umm didnt see that comin. I feel bad x-ing her but lady wrong song choice. booooooo.

Weird acts
dog head dude=XXX
Reverend Flash- I actually kinda liked it
god accepted my friend request- NO NO

Ray Jessil- 84 yr old singer and einstein look-a-like. There has been several old guys rockin the sstage this year. How will he do. Wow another piece of original music. Pulling for this guy. OMG. Amazing. too bad she has a penis. Act of the night and possible the auditions. And you end the show with Gershwin. Excellent music choice.

Actsof the night:
1. Ray Jessil
2. Rogue
3. Luke Rawlins

Ray was a hoot! I did not expect that at all!

Hard to keep up with all of the acts put through so I don't remember enough to make comments.

Thanks for doing this. I love reading your posts.

20. "RE: Season 9 Welcome/Welcome Back Thread"

I was gonna do a top ten list from the entire audition process but was gonna have to leave too many great acts off. I went back and watched some of these acts and moved some up and some down but these are the ones that really left a positive impression on me.

Top 15 Audition Acts

15. Emil & Darius "Rock and Roll Cellists"

Would like to see how they do with a classical piece now that they rocked out to Hendrix.

14. Aaron J Fields "Belting baby singer"

The baby outfit did help make him memorable but I may have been too high on him initially after a re-watch. great singer though.

13. Kamikazee Fireflies "Nick gets too close for comfort"

Watchin that guy climb up Nick like a demented monkey was hilarious. But seeing him juggle with nick swaying back and forth was amazing. Still they need to polish their act if they want a shot at the mil.

12. Frank Demitri "stuttering singing old man"

This guy is really good. and he has a ton of songs on youtube already. Looking forward to more classics from frank.

11. Ricarde and Carlos "hand balancing over the X's"

Not as good as some of the other acts in his category but the sheer height is what made this week 1 act memorable.

10. Dustin Stogo and Terry " Looking out for attackers"

Needed a Gold buzzer to get through but these guys were sooooo funny. More Terry all the time.

9. Smoothini "Close up Magician"

Very "Smooth" close up magician. But can he up his game for the live shows.

8. Atlanta Professional Dance Academy "Beautiful Flower Dance"

Beautiful performance. But what more can they do.

7. Blue Journey "Dancing Silohuettes"

same as above. And do they have a choreographer since they did not create that piece.

6. Ray Jessill "she has a penis"

Laugh out loud funny. And its original material so Im sure he has even more naughty songs for us.

5. Nick Cannon "Mime speaks out"

Excellent Prank by the best host on television. Much better than Mandels Birthday nonsense.

4. Bob Markworth "Archer Extrodinaire"

This guy has charisma. Which is exactly what an act like this needs. he's gonna go far.

3.Christian Stoinev "Top Hat and Tails Handbalancer"
2.Andrey Moraru "Ukrainian Handbalancer"

These guys got slotted together and it was real hard to rank. I went with Andrey because his set was so simple. Christian was a bit too trick oriented to me not a full show. But I suspect that both have much more up their sleeve.

1. Sons of Serendip "Beautiful String Quartet"

Rewatching this performance again has me rooting for a vocal act for the first time in the history of this show. Their performance was genuinely moving and Im am so dissapointed we didn't hear it from start to finish. y favorite act of the season at this oint.

Who do you guys like????
