PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.

Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Ok, I guess I'll start this even though tonights show is over now. I suppose that says something about interest, but if anyone has anything to say, if not at least *I* can get something off my chest.....--------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- Well, this should be enough filler. Is it just me or were the judges smoing something tonight well they chose to send through this particular contestant? I mean, if she was 20 and came out with that kind of stuff would anyone be impressed?
It was cute and marginally entertaining, but nowhere NEAR worth $1M.
But, the four of us had a great time.

I agree. I totally thought Grandma was a gimmick. No talent needed, no talent at all. I can't believe Piers thought she could win this thing. The judges are so contradictory here. They slam the violinist girl and tell her she should stay in the background of the orchestra when she actually HAS talent and then tell the gimmicky grandma that she may win this thing???? WTF???? WTF???? Did I say WTF????? They seem to be so hell-bent on getting a mixture of circus acts into the finale that they are overlooking the truly talented contestants. I think many of these people are just that...Circus Acts...Not worthy of a million dollars. Tribe did me in the sun!

Yeah, I don't know about the granny, either. I never like that kind of thing, so whatever.Last week the male judges were afraid to tell the truth to the untalented sister act - only Brandi told them to get lessons. And why did they give checks to the girl who did "One Moment in Time" and went off-key everywhere, but X's to the one who did the Joplin tune? Inconsistent. I liked the stilt thing, but they made it easy for the judges to X them. Poor girl. She's going to feel miserable about that for a while. I wasn't fond of the violinist, actually. Too squeaky, even if it was on purpose. But I won't deny she's more talented than most of the others. Wheel of Tribe

Yes...it was truly a "JUMP THE SHARK" moment when the judges voted thru the Granny. It really had potential up until that very moment. I fear its lost all credibility now. Why would you want to appear on a show who's judges thought an untalented old lady was the best act of the night??? I felt so bad for the many talented others who had to stand up there and be humiliated by that decision. My 2-cents on the kid singers....GO BACK TO STAR SEARCH!!! HAHA! This show definitely should have excluded singers of ANY kind - but most of all little kids! As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of shows for singers. Did the producers believe they wouldn't have enought talent for a show without them??? I'm just glad for the exposure the other more unique acts are getting. A smart agent would get a bunch of them together and put on their own Vegas variety show!!! Incidentally....the act I thought was the most unique and want to see more of is the "QUICK CHANGE" people. I've been to lots of places and lots of shows and have never seen anything like that before! Kick out the kids and the grannies....WE WANT REAL TALENT!!!
