The audience votes through one person each week; the judges vote through one person each week as well. HOWEVER, they only have time to show ten acts a week, not 15, so the judges pick their top TEN acts to show each week. That's what Regis keeps updating---of the xyz acts left, which ones will get on tonight? Kinda cheesy...not really suspenseful, but Reg is only doing what he is told and this is Simon Cowell's brainchild. The judges are showing how they feel along the way with each act..with buzzing an "X" or a "Checkmark". The first act was Taylor Ware, the yodeling wondergirl. She knocked it out of the park! Definitely worth a rewind. She got three checkmarks. She started to sing around 8:10, the first ten minutes of the show were recapping the previous shows, clips of acts, explaining how this proceeds, the judges deciding which of the 15 acts will be shown, etc. The second act was "All That", the boy-band-looking cloggers. The cloggers were perfect and they took it up a notch, too. They were worth a rewind/rewatch. They got three checkmarks. Third was Kevin Johnson, the talented ventriloquist. He sorta repeated what he had done and worked in Hasslehof's name. Said he has a forty minute act and they only allow him to show ninety secs; more he can do, etc. Alexis Jordan, the 14 year old singer, sang At Last. Not the best choice---she needs more work and Piers told her so. The juggler was good but started off with negative predisposition from the judges. Do not expect him to be back. Shawn Ryan, the caberet singer, was charming, but did not wow the judges. Do not expect him to be back. Seventh is the dog act, J.R. Johns and his best friends--that's all the further I am with DVR so far...he is going in a different direction than last time...not impressive enough...judges are underwhelmed I guess. Of the first 5 the top 2 were the yodeler and the cloggers.

Still catching up on DVR...so behind everyone else. I don't get the support for the hoop act...lol at Piers for the accidental 'check' but I actually think that was planned by him. Well acted, Piers. The hoop act is fine, but it seems like something I could see at a circus among other acts...not a mil dollar act. Still liking the cloggers and the yodeler best. Have not seen the harmonica guy yet tonight..and hope he blows everyone away...having the last spot is a good sign.

Harpist...incongruous music selection with harp--I agree with Piers but I would not have "checked" her.BTW, the "checks" and "X's" do not mean anything from the judges other than to tell the audience their opinions in a symbol form. The audience votes in one act to the semis and the judges vote in one act to the semis each week. Still thinking the yodeler and the cloggers were best tonight so far...waiting on the harmonica act. Is anyone going to vote? From what I have seen the past couple of weeks I think that 11 or 12 year old girl will take it all--the one with the big pipes, can't remember her name.

The Millers....harmonica players...rocked out.Piers made the harmonica player cry...aw....how many votes is that worth? The audience loved them. Piers wants the singing brother out. He just does not like any of the singing they do, lol! Brother is just fine....Piers is too harsh. I think the yodeler may have just gotten pushed out of the semis. I think the most voting support will be for yodeler, cloggers, and the Millers.
BTW, the fine print they have been running across the screen says something about only ten votes per medium...I take that as ten by computer, ten by phone and ten by text.

ROFL!!!After dissing the act (the singing, guitar playing brother part), the judges put The Millers into the semi-finals. Now the audience can choose from the other 9 acts. 1 866 ULOVE 01 is Taylor Ware
1 866 ULOVE 02 is All That The judges announced their top three acts were..guess what...
the yodeler, All That, and The Millers. Guess they are hoping for the audience to put through the yodeler, Taylor Ware, or All That.

Yeah...the Wayne Newton comparison was a bit odd. I didn't realise that he was a Southern rocking harmonica player. I thought he sang old lounge tunes in Vegas. If those boys do take home the money, they'll deserve it just for what they've had to put up with from Regis and Piers.
