LAST EDITED ON 07-05-06 AT 04:11 PM (EST)hmmm ... interesting thought. It never occurred to me that he intentionally sabotaged the team. He said he didn't know how to translate the Roman Numeral "L" so I just assumed that the reason the team lost was just that -- simple ignorance. He seems to have a good heart (unlike his Dad and Uncle), and he also had the intelligence to realize they were dealing with Roman numerals and was able to translate some of them. You titled this thread, "Did Young Hanlon Sink His Team?" and personally my opinion is that the answer to that question is, "no." In my opinion what sank the team was the elder Hanlons' bungling and ignorance. And maybe karma's a real thing -- maybe they lost because they were behaving like uncaring racists. I don't know if karma is real, but bungling and ignorance definitely are! LOL Like Ron White said, "You can't cure stupid." I feel sorry for the younger Hanlon, and hope he continues to choose what is right and honorable and intelligent, rather than follow the example of his father and uncle. I agree, I doubt he purposely sunk the team but I'm surprised those guys haven't figure out how to use a 'puter seeing as several of the teams have solved clues or found directions by just using their 'puter. That also makes the so fun Fogals idiots too for driving around Boston all that time without just looking up directions themselves. I liked the Browns and the Hanlons (at least until that clue and boat stunt, I mean they even gave the Fogals more respect) and would have rather not seen either go but someone has to. My favorite Ron White quote "I'm 4th Generation Dont Give a Fvck."

That was BIZARRE! LOL I think sometimes they're so focused on taking the "easy" route by just piggybacking so to speak on the other teams, that it doesn't always occur to them to actually try solving the clues for themselves using their own, well, if not brains, at least their own computers LOL Igor, Secretary to the Pope igor_sttp@yahoo.com "A Mind Is A Terrible Thing"
