Episode 3.07: Day 3: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Airdate: December 9, 2003 11/29 - CHAPPELLE LEARNS OF JACK'S DRUG ADDICTION, MICHELLE HAS GAEL TAKE OVER FOR HER AT CTU When Chappelle learns about Jack's drug addiction, he accuses Chase of covering for him. Meanwhile, Michelle visits Tony in the hospital and, unaware of Gael's terrorist connection, gives him command of CTU. But, if they stop this virus before it kills at least a few people, I am going to stop watching. For god's sake! Something has to happen now and then. It is a constant build up to nothing. Also, I am not an expert in heroin addiction, but am I the only one who finds it strange that Jack is not going through more severe withdrawls. "RE: 24 Day 3: 7:00pm-8:00pm Hour 7" Nice twist with Gael being the mole/not being the mole. I think this episode redeemed the series somewhat. Glad to see Tony back too. So Tony and Gael and Jack had this deal worked out the whole time to get Jack back in with the Salazar's? How would they know ahead of time they would need to do this though? Jack has a past link with Hector Salazar based on his past drug use while he was undercover and matching tattoo. I don't think Kim is in on this at all. Neither is Chase or he wouldn't be trying to rescue Jack. What is up with that Chloe character? Something's not right about her, or they're just trying to have a character appear more stoopid than Kim this year so Kim seems smart. "RE: 24 Day 3: 7:00pm-8:00pm Hour 7" I'm trying to remember the previews for next week- Chase is trying to find Jack and his car gets ambushed or something and maybe he gets taken by the Salazar's too, not sure. Palmer's girlfiend goes to see her ex-husband who after words are exchanged is holding a gun to his head. I can't remember what else. Jack must have got that tattoo on his arm when he was deep undercover before with the Salazar's. That's when he was also on heroin and how he busted Ramon Salazar. Now we find he is apparently tight with Ramon's brother Hector from before. I don't know what's the deal with Hector's girlfriend, someone else has speculated that she might be an undercover agent- don't know. Only other info I know is that Nina and Sherry are supposed to be back in January and Nina is somehow involved with the virus plotline. I was really not feeling this season and the whole twist regarding Gael, Jack and Tony completely changed that! After the credits rolled the only thing I could say was "I can't wait for next week". I'm leery of Chloe too. I can't decide if she's going to eventually turn psycho, get killed or become the hero. Yeah, the new twists seem to have added new interest to the show. There's promise now with completely new questions about Jack/Hector/tatoos; Tony; Gael; stoopid girlfriend of pres and her ex-husband (though there's not a lot of promise in the presidential angle(s) at all this year; Chloe is still and enigma; are Nina and Sherry really coming back; is the only reason Chapelle back at CTU to leer at Michele dressed in her "business" suit? BUT.........only one more week before Christmas of the show, so a couple of small questions get answered and then I go on "hiatus" for 9 weeks. By the time I'm back for the March 2 show I won't even recognize the plot anymore. So, should I just pack it in now, buy the DVD in six or eight months and settle down and watch it all then? Or, should I log in here from time to time if possible and try to keep up with the show that way and then swing back in on March 2?
