The air support was very impressive and I did enjoy the hour. Sherry is definitely pure evil and I'm wondering if she can survive the next two hours. Unless David does resign and she gets into Keeler's presidency how can she ever be brought back meaninfully except thorugh continued blackmail? I don't believe Tony is going to be prosecuted, but I don't see how he can come back to CTU in a position of power. Michele acted the way he should have - giving herself up to go back as a hostage to try to catch Saunders. Maybe the extenuating circumstances of his coming back to work to soon after almost a lethal injury will save him. Only two more hours to go. 2002 IceCat Originals, Inc. All rights reserved.

LAST EDITED ON 05-12-04 AT 02:31 PM (EST)Here's a pre-show synopsis from RR that's pretty accurate for the last part of the show. I think most of this happened prior to 9:55. "A bit later Wayne meets Bruce Foxton in a dark garage and asks him to retrieve the pill bottle from Sherry. Foxton asks if Palmer has approved this request, and Wayne says only that Palmer knows about it. Meanwhile Tony and Jane wait near the bridge, while Jack, Chase, and their team get into position nearby. A few moments later a convoy of cars arrives, and Frederick emerges from one, holding Michelle at gunpoint. Tony convinces Jane to walk toward the cars, but as she and Michelle pass each other, Jane gets spooked and turns back, prompting several other men to pour out of the cars and start shooting at Tony. Tony calls for backup, but Jack refuses to move until they see Saunders. Finally, however, as the firefight continues, Saunders steps out of his car and calls to Jane. As Tony and Michelle embrace, Jack runs out. When Saunders sees Jack, he runs, but Jack chases him into the dry L. A. River bed. As Jack catches up to Saunders, however, a chopper appears overhead and Jack calls for air support. A moment later, as Saunders tries to board his helicopter, a jet zooms in and fires a missile into the chopper, blowing it up. Saunders is blown backward, and Jack finds him unconscious while the CTU agents round up the rest of Saunders’ men. Finally Saunders comes to, and Jack demands to know where the rest of the virus vials are. Saunders says he’ll never tell… unless he gets what he wants." I don't think Saunders was ever actually unconscious that I rmember. Also, previews for next week include someone interviewing Tony and saying he could be charged with treason. Can't remember the others. 2002 IceCat Originals, Inc. All rights reserved.
