"The Reunion Show" |
LAST EDITED ON 10-05-06 AT 10:22 AM (EST)A few quick thoughts: Keith is more sociopathic than I thought. He actually believes that the books were planted? I think the producers wanted him to stay. He was great tv. In fact, I think they gave him a pass on the dog challenge. But they could not ignore the books and his briefly leaving the production. Keith would have done much better to say he was sorry for the whole incident. Did anyone else notice that Laura has a chest during pregnancy? Jeffrey also would have done better to apologize for being rude to Angela's mom. So what if she was difficult? You don't talk to people, especially clients, that way. Loved all the little funny videos! I'll have to go back and watch them again. Tim really does use some fabulous words. And what was with the fainting models? Vincent. Oh my gosh. He really is crazy. That video of his laundry tirade served no purpose but to make fun of him. It wasn't amusing. Handcrafted by RollDdice

Keith was just creepy and arrogant. I was hoping that he would leave. I thought it was funny how he at first said that there was nothing in the contract about having books and when everyone else disagreed, he went to the conspiracy theory. Vincent should be ashamed of how he berated the poor producer about his laundry. Unfortunately, I don't think he got how rude and insane he seemed. Seeing Malin again really makes me wish that he would have stayed around longer. Jeffrey just can't get past his ego and wanting to be "right". I also remembered how entertaining Bradley was.

I remember this Survivor named Rupert. I couldn't stand him, but he was very popular. After two chances, he still couldn't win so the producers found a way to hook him up with a Viewer's Choice Award.Yes, I think the same thing is going to happen to Michael. Because, well, they've never given this award before. And they knew who the winner would be when the reunion was taped (the contestants may or may not, but the producers do) and finally, his Urban Safari looked Craptacular. Sad to say, the worst of the 4. So despite being #1 all season, I don't think he'll win. But I could be wrong. I was positive he'd win until I saw his collection. I started to wonder, and now I wonder much more. Also, Keith was certainly nutsy and came off much worse on the reunion than he did on the show itself.

I think the reunion was taped like the Wednesday night before the Friday morning show/final judging. So unless there was a fix, no one knew who would win at that point. But I do agree that Michael winning is a long shot. He is the youngest finalist, and he has alot to learn, IMO. But you know, the judges have surprised me before. They may like his Street Safari whatever line. They may say it's fresh, young, modern, with a point of view, etc. It's like Laura said in one of her interviews that the real prize is to show at Bryant Park. There is a market for Michael's designs and he got exposure from the show. Michael will be a big success no matter what the outcome of PR. Handcrafted by RollDdice

I'm afraid you may be right about Michael getting the check and not winning. I live here in NY and in our local paper after the finale Nina did not favor him with her comments. I hope I'm wrong. I won't "spoil" it and say who she favored.

I have that same instinctual feeling: Michael Knight did NOT win Project Runway. Even so, he got his line shown, his talent has been validated.

Keith you are a pathological liar. Get help. How could anyone ever trust you?Jeffrey, apologize to Angela's mom. Yeah, I know she's really annoying, but do it anyway. It'll be good practice. Vincent, you are delusional. You turn me on. (not) Laura, you're wicked ugly. (not) Well, maybe only when you expose your chest. Oh, and two words...birth control. Kayne, you should run your motormouth in the Nascar. Yes, yes you can use sequins. Malan, make a laugh track and sell it. Come back next year. Bradley, you look um, er, gulp....hot! Robert, you are not boring. You just need to have some sense slapped into you. Tim, Sturmunddrang? Heidi, start a play group with Laura, and two words... birth control. Nina, what on earth were you wearing and how old are you? Thank you. That is all.
Tribe rocked my sig!

Tahj pretty much said it all. But I'll add to it.Keith, it's time to grow up and take responsibility for who you are. Malan, congratulations on showing at Bryant Park. I think you're terrific in a very quirky way. Vincent, you are the walking definition of the Napoleon Complex. Join Keith in a shrink search. Allison, you are adorable and a great designer. Wish we'd seen more of you. Angela, I really do believe that you would have liked Jeffery if you had met under different circumstances. He, however, would not have liked you. Don't take it personally, he is just a self-centered dip who has no respect for anyone who doesn't wear leather 24/7 or who lives in O-HI-O.

Dictionary.com Unabridged Sturm und Drang 1. a style or movement of German literature of the latter half of the 18th century: characterized chiefly by impetuosity of manner, exaltation of individual sensibility and intuitive perception, opposition to established forms of society and thought, and extreme nationalism. 2. tumult; turmoil; upheaval.Keith, you were quite snide about the "magical" books, yet you blamed magical production fairies for a) planting those books in your room and, b) insisting that you go out unattended to "get away from the heat" of other contestents. Your nose broke our new plasma screen. Ra's ticked. Jeffery, you are rude, obnoxious and borish. Try show business; you would make a great agent. Vincent, you know what really turns me on? When you SHUT UP. Malan: Am I the only one who is creeped out by this guy? *shudders* Angela -- You actually impressed me last night. You were quite subdued, even if you did ask the lamest. question. ever. to Kors and Nina. Do you really think saying your model was something upper class would change the hoochie to classy? Uli; I like you, but you are a broken record lately which bores the heck out of me. Michael; I'm rather afraid that you got a Rupert style "Pity prize" I hope I'm wrong, but somehow I doubt it. Fainting Models; There is a cure for what ails you. EAT.

I'm not a Vincent fan and think he lasted much too long on the show, but he was right about Tim's blog. I read a few of Tim's blogs and he was nasty about Vincent and not with anyone else.

Glad it went to him. The only other people I could have imagined winning would have been Kayne or Allison, but Ali just wasn't on long enough.I felt that most of the cast was 'set up' with the questions that were posed to them, especially from Heidi. Who wouldn't be on the defensive?? I'm not including Keith in that mix, who was obviously trying to worm his way out of a very sticky situation by placing blame on some unknown production member, who not only told him to leave, but also planted those books back in his room. OK, and I'm heading to the beach right now from my house in Tucson.... Anyway, it really has been an interesting season, and I've enjoyed it. I think this is one of, if not THE best, reality shows on TV!!

LOVE Tim Gunn...........Heidi is usually pretty normal, but where on earth did she find those horrible clothes for this season??? PLEASE get someone to dress her nearer to her age and not her oldest childs age!! If Jeffrey is the winner....I may never watch again..... I am sick, sick, sick of the punk/grunge/rag look being called fashion. I really did like Kayne and think he could have toned it all down enough to show a nice collection, Alison as well. As for Keith and Vincent.....OH MY GOD - well the producers have to have someone in the mix for reality TV drama - don't they? I like most of Lauras stuff so long as she tries hard to breakaway from her usual thing.....ditto with ULI..... I like Michael and think he probably was given the viewers choice because of the hype about how much the VIEWERS liked his stuff.....with people like Nina and a couple of the other wierdo guest judges loving Jeffrey, well, we the people, just don't really count now do we??? Nina's choices in outfits is pretty UGH at times as well. Tim Gunn has class, elegance AND taste....unfortunately, they don't seem to want judges with any taste. I generally agree with Michael Kors, but he is really the only one who exhibits taste regularly. The reunion show was good, with the exceptions of Jeffrey's crappy personality, Vincents delusions, and Keith's ridiculous attitude over being caught in his "tricks up his sleeve". But hey, it IS reality TV and again, they gotta have some Reality TV drama.....or we wouldn't watch each week................. bon voyage.....
