"Project Runway - Jeffrey as Winner??? UGH! I hope MIKE"
I'm sorry to all the punk/rocker fans, but Jeffrey as a designer truly is BAD! There is only a very small section of world population that WOULD wear his junk. PUUUULEEEEZE....a designer really NEEDS to appeal to more than just a couple of hundred people. Mike has a pretty pleasing AND current/trendy eye for what to create....I LIKED Alison....even the "fat minnie mouse" outfit WASN'T as BAD as Vincents! Come On!! How on earth did Vincent stay around as long as he did?? Jeffrey too, his stuff is really quite awful.....Laura, well, she's a bit old school-BUT hey, her stuff DOES appeal to a much bigger group of people - it IS relatively CLASSY AND generally is well put together...I EVEN LIKED the black and white dress in design-Her color choices could have been more up to date.....and a great big slit up the leg would have made it a lot more current. Kayne-well, he's gay-he's really got the Jay Carroll sense of ridiculous going on....but his stuff is generally pretty............and appealing to a large group! Sooooo, Who's going to win?? PLEASE NOT JEFFREY!!!! Uli can get it going on when pushed to the wall.......... I VOTE for MIKE!!!!

I agree. Mike has been the ONLY one to consistantly bring out something new and fresh with each and every competition. At least that I can remember-if he was on a losing team, I don't recall!

He has down-to-earth style added with an upgraded amount of newness and he NEVER, EVER does the same thing twice!

He is NEVER boring, and every single design he's produced has made SENSE! I vote for Michael, too.

I say Uli's consistancy with that same neckline, rope-thing, is going to can her, if she doesn't step it up. Laura learned a great lesson last night, and may give Michael a good run for the money, but I think she's getting way too tired for all of this at this point. Jeffrey needs to tone it down to win, but he's pretty hard headed and believes in who he is, so we'll see....

Remind you of anyone from last season?

ETA that Michael should win. Which is probably the kiss of death on PR.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

Michael is going to win. He is the best of them all. I hope too that Jeffrey doesn't win. Along with his designs being 'expected', he has a bad attitude.

if jeffrey wins, i wont bother with next season. i believe in karma, and jeffrey deserves all crap he gets. he is cruel, egotistical and an #####.

i have pretty much liked angela. at least she was open minded about any critiques from others. her excitement for each task has no wavered.

i do hope michale wins. he is a wonderful designer and doesnt get ahead with being rude or ugly. he is so talented.

maybe jeffery could take lessons from mike. being a recovering drunk/addict, you would think he would have more humility. the guys is a jerk who ought to be designing elvis costumes. there was no excuse for his behavior with angela's mother.

im hoping jeffrey gets his, payback for his nasty attitude. laura said it best....if he is so damn cool, why is he there?

I agree with all the praise heaped on Michael's work and his demeanor. It's hard to believe he was turned down for appearing on Season Two, but things happen for a reason.

Gotta disagree. I don't think "appealing to a large group" is what designer fasion is necessarily about. Besides, we had our Chloe-ready-to-wear-win last season.

I just don't like Michael's collection. Granted, hot pants are trendy but I really hate his decolletage treatments and unless the clothes looks remarkably different "in the flesh" I can't root for him (much as I'd like to). Laura's are fine but, well, pretty safe. Nothing we haven't seen before. Ditto Uli, except for her eye for materials and patterns, but I think she'd be a better "right hand man" for some other designer.

I was looking at some Heatherette slide shows and I think Jeffrey might be well received in the fashion world. I am not saying I could wear Jeffrey's clothes but, on balance, I actually think I like his collection the best in terms of creative effort.

I also don't see much resemblance - commentary about sexual preference aside - between the Georgia Peach Goes to Reno stylings of Kayne (who was a sweetie, but who was in over his head) and Jay Carroll.

>I have to agree. He has toned it all down, come back to earth and has actually created a collection to be proud of! Michael, on the other hand, went with a few of his winning ideas, and it just didn't work for me. I would NEVER wear those hot pant things! And neither would any of my other 50+ y/o friends!

If you're designing for teens-early 20's, fine. But to reach a larger group, you're going to have to create a collection that spans the years, and I think Jeffrey did that.

Angela and Uli, unfortunately, stayed too safe for my taste.

I haven't seen anyone's collections because I like to watch the show and be surprised but I so hope that Michael wins. I picked him out as the winner from the first episode and I'm rooting for him. I just don't like the stuff that Uli has put out--prints, Miami, beach weather outfits or Laura--those plunging necklines that show all your ribs with those silly things hanging from each dress. Michael has shown versatility and I'll be tuning in to see him win!!!! (I hope!)
