"BB21 List #7" |
And the “Power Pendulum” swings back and forth between both sides of the House...all contingent on who wins the comps. With Tommy in power this past week we could have the reemergence of a “Six-Shooters” alliance. With different bullets in the chamber, of course. TOMMY – This week was Tommy’s official coming out party from Christie’s shadow. Followed up his HOH win with the POV win to complete the “weekly double.” Can’t dispute his nominations for the betterment of his game even though I hated to see either go. With the result of the Field Trip twist putting his partner on the block during HIS HOH reign, I give Tommy props for handling the situation as best as could be expected without subjecting us to a Christie-like meltdown. HOLLY – I continue to marvel how she has avoided major risk thus far considering her close relationship in the House with arguably the most polarizing HG this season. That can only speak volumes for HER social game. Had to be a major blow her F2 partner became the latest casualty this week, but if anyone can forge forward and put this setback behind her...it will be Holly. CLIFF – When he was HOH earlier, he successfully bought himself a couple extra weeks. The wheeler & dealer was up to his old tricks again this week and appears to have bought himself some additional time. The “Wolf of Wall Street” has nothing on the A&M Aggie and this season’s token Gen-Xer. How he handled crybaby Kat with complete calmness and self-discipline was vintage Big Brother. JACKSON – Mighty slick of him to figure out shaking the eggs before rolling them was the trick on his way to earning safety for the week. Well done! I agree with his assessment that the internet trolls who voted who would play in the Field Trip probably were the ones the fans disliked the most. That made his DR session all the more comical when he “thanked” America for giving him safety and putting Christie on the block. Ha-Ha! NICK – Personally, I really don’t like him...but kudos on how he pretty much emerged from the ashes and has positioned himself quite favorably in the House at this stage of the game. Playing both sides of the House comes with an inherent risk, but he’s been managing to pull it off quite well. If Nick’s “behavior” in the House is part of his master plan to not have to deal with Smella after the game, then well played…otherwise this 27-year old has a lion share of growing up to do. CHRISTIE – Her partnership with Tommy paid HUGE dividends for her this week. Thanks to Tommy’s POV win, at least we were spared additional boo-hoo hysterics from Christie had she remained on the block for the entire week. The fact she even went up on the block was due to her own pathetic ineptness in the Field Trip comp. She didn’t even have to win...just avoid finishing in LAST PLACE. JESSICA – Even Jackson and Holly understand the game to not defy the power in the House on any given week. Is a hug from departing Kathryn REALLY worth the risk of your sorry ass ending up on the block? Her only hope for next week is for Jackson or Holly to win HOH because no way this oversized model will finish anything other than last place in that competition. NICOLE – Continues to show what a horrible casting debacle she has been. Hey girl, this is the game you signed up for...and when called upon this week to make a difference she freaks out over having to play? And there are those who contend CBS Production’s strength is in its “casting??” LMAO! Only things keeping Nicole from the bottom feeder is she’s not a bimbo-brain and she’s not a Reality Show Ho. ANA-LEAST – Had it not been for Jackson coaching Ana-Least with “shaking the egg,” her and Christie would probably STILL be on the Field Trip battling it out. So, it took over 50 days and a punishment to provide her first slither of relevance in the House as the Punished Chicken. That’s assuming you don’t regard peeing on yourself when laughing (as per Jack’s parting shot) as somewhat “relevant.” We know this hen needs no coaching on how to get humped by a rooster. EVICTED
KATHRYN – AWWWW! Our sweet little BB Blowup Doll is now officially deflated...as far as being a HG is concerned. I don’t care how close she was to Jessica...had Nick came to Kat with the same deal he offered Cliff, she would have gobbled it up faster than she could say, “conspiring bitches!” So, her interaction with Cliff was vintage hypocrisy. Two words to assess her departure—SOOOORE LOOOSER!

LAST EDITED ON 08-17-19 AT 02:21 PM (EST)I pretty much agree with your assessments. I would put Nicole up a little higher, for a floater or a perpetual target, she has handled her self pretty well. But her days are seemingly numbered unless the diary room stirs the pot or the "unexpected" happens again. I'd also put Cliff a little higher, but he is a perpetual target, and unless the power shifts in this game, he's got to be a goner, because if he ends up F2, he's a winner and I suspect everyone still in the house knows this. Sorry to see Kat go. What little gleam of entertainment this show had is gone. But I think she made her case to be a returnee, either as a guest or as a cameo. What loser hasn't been a sore loser?. OK, there might have been a few, but that really does describe most if not all of the evictees interviewed immediately upon leaving. I think Kat was justified in feeling like she was screwed. If all blowup dolls were modeled after her, there's be a run on sales.

I hear you with Nicole and Cliff.I was going to put Nicole above Jessica, but her whole “Whoa is me; Damsel in Distress” belly-aching DR confessions we have to hear has gotten old for a while now. As I stated in my assessment, she signed up to play a game and this week she found herself in a perfect position to play only to torment over it in such a whiny manner. For that reason, I had to drop her a notch. I was also going to place Cliff right below #1 Tommy, but approaching Day 60 for Holly’s pretty tush to have never touched the nomination block even with her obvious relationship with Jackson notwithstanding is pretty astonishing for me...thus, I felt compelled to rank her higher than Cliff for this week. I agree, I’m certain Kathryn will make a return in some capacity. I’m thinking Pfizer would block the sale of Kathryn blowup dolls because it might put Viagra out of business. My “sore loser” label for Kathryn was triggered by how she stormed out of the House acknowledging no one except Jessica, not based on her exit interview with Julie. All the HGs know going into the game only one will win and 15 will lose. For those 15, I’m certain the realization of not winning the 500K must be frustrating and disappointing, yet many, MANY more make a point to display sportsmanship and bid good-bye to all the HGs. Kat was not the first, and will not be the last, sore loser to exit as she did, but by my recollection of all the evictions I've watched on Big Brother, her departure out of the House (snubbing almost all) is more of an exception than the norm.
