As long as Julie Chen hosts and the ratings beat out the average infomercial, the show won't be canceled. No matter how many protests are generated from what airs, regardless of the contestants turning the prison system into a personal All-Stars reunion, there will be no backlash from the network. Essentially, she's landed in a situation where she gets bonuses based on the strength of the last failure. Given that, why turn things around?
