"The pointlessness of BB twists."
One pair of rivals/enemies/unfinished business/migawd does the Chenbot have to read off the whole thing every single time already broken up. One pair with both halves currently nominated. The third with one member doing his level best to get the other one up at all costs.

In other words, it's a typical BB twist: wait a few days, and the contestants will throw it away themselves.

At this point, is it even possible for the show to come up with something that can get through the entire season and have any effect on the finale? The pairs twist: wrecked as soon as they figured out it was there. Twins: break them up, can't let them operate as a team. Enemies: ditto. Exes: zilch. Summer of secrets: who cares? The whole Coup thing, remember that? I'll understand if it takes some work 'cause it never did anything. Right now, we may be a little less than two weeks away from having the current season's theme eliminated -- and after that, it's just endless episodes of Jen.

What have we learned? Mostly that pairs don't work in any form: even when they're at each other's throats, people are too scared of reconcilation to let them stay in the house. Rules changes don't seem to have any impact. Returnees don't get very far...

Is there anything that can work at all?

Big Brother 9: Season Of Intelligent Contestants is way too much to hope for.

BB9:the summer of MENSA?

It would be fun to watch the ChenBot blink, twitch and fry a chip over what those folks could say in response to her inane questions.

Summertribe and the living is easy!
