PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Beloved Husband and I were talking about this last night... pick anything you want, what do YOU want to hear them each sing?Deanna - You've Lost That Lovin Feeling, Righteous Bros JD - Only Wanna Be With You - Hootie and the Blowfish Jessica - Landslide, Stevie Nicks Jordis - Tiny Dancer, Elton John Marty - When I Look To The Sky, Train Mig - What It Takes, Aerosmith Suzie - She Talks To Angels, Black Crowes Ty - Watching The River Run, Loggins and Messina I'm really interested to see what the rest of you come up with =) Thanks for the effort in advance! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Karma doesn't come back on people because some universal controller-god pushes buttons. It comes back on people because they dig holes for themselves to fall into.

I love your sig about karma! (It seems especially appropriate right now...) Are those your words, or a quote from someone? It's very good.

Some of your choices don't seem "rock" enough to me. But they could have fun rearranging them! My picks are more general... I would love to hear some Guns N Roses, Soundgarten, Living Colour, LEd Zepplin, J Geils Band, Hole, and maybe some Who. Look at me I got a Sweet Summer Syren Siggie!

Whoa! I was off making my list before you posted, and saw your post AFTER I posted my list! You know what they say about great minds... We have similar thoughts about bands they need to cover!

LAST EDITED ON 08-11-05 AT 07:20 PM (EST) Hey, Tamena, you beat me to it! I was thinking of starting a similar thread, of songs I wanted to hear sung (by anyone, not assigned to a particular contestant.)
For starters, I'd like someone to sing: "I Can't Quit You Baby" by Led Zeppelin "Crazy On You" by Heart "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane "I Am, I Said" by Neil Diamond "Redemption Song" by Bob Marley "Fell On Black Days" by Soundgarden "Love Rears It's Ugly Head" by Living Colour "Love Hurts" by Nazareth "Manic Depression" by Jimi Hendrix "Black Coffee In Bed" by Squeeze "Bittersweet" by Big Head Todd & The Monsters "Smooth" by Santana (with Rob Thomas) "Rudie Can't Fail" by The Clash "Infected" and/or "Sorrow" by Bad Religion "Tell Me Something Good" by Rufus "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" by James Brown "Papa Don't Take No Mess" by James Brown Anything By James Brown (OMG, can you just imagine? They need to get some funk into that place! INXS music can get funky, and they've been mostly concentrating on rock in their song selection. I say, do an acoustic night, and do a funk night!) I hope there is a PA on the show, whose sole reason for existence is to read message boards about the show, to bring back feedback and ideas!

I'd say "Jane Said" but not holding my breath."Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails/Johnny Cash. "Doll Parts" and "Violet" by Hole. "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden. "Criminal" by Fiona Apple. "#####" by Meredith Brooks. "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop. "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin.
