I am surprised you didn't catch onto that. They made it the bottom five just to show you JD's face and to get his reaction for the Sunday Night VH1 show. You can bet that JD will be a large focus on that show. It was done for only one reason to add a little drama to this sunday's show. His singing and on stage presence is really lacking IMHO. Yeah, the bottom 5 with JD was definitely done for dramatic effect. Just like when they show him scowling everytime INXS is praising someone else for their performance. And Suzie bawling when someone is eliminated.
