PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Maybe I am just getting old, but I found the sound quality on last night's show very garbled sounding, and the house band seemed to overpower many of the rawkers' voices. Did anyone else notice that? Or, maybe I am losing my hearing....but it was highly annoying!!

Really? I thought the mic the rockers were using was too soft. The volume of the rockers' voices were inconsistent throughout their songs, so I think it was the mic.

DW complained about the same thing. She was disappointed that she could not hear the words.

Sometimes I think the mix is a little off but it's always going to be that way with a band jamming like that. Any and all bands are going to be too loud, especially as the night progresses. A lead singer really has to learn to deal with it and have a big enough voice and stage presence so they don't get swallowed up by it on stage. I tend to agree with some of the other posters that the problem is that the singers mic needs to be turned up. The sound is probably very different for the sound people and audience than it is for the TV viewer.
