LAST EDITED ON 07-10-06 AT 08:41 PM (EST)hmmm. Well. You should try listening to some of his other stuff. There's a reason my love has increased 1000x since last week. I can't find you a song where he sings about beautiful worlds but his voice is certainly beautiful. The voice I would expect to come only from an angel from heaven. *waves to Krazy* He has amazing stage presence. I can.not. take my eyes off him. I showed my husband this video and he said, "He's just sitting there." I said, "Well yeah, but watch him just sit there." He did and I think my husband might be a little bit in love with him now too. Such emotion and talent. The fact that this is the first I'm hearing of him breaks my heart. ugh. ♥ I swear every effin reality singing show, I fall in love with somebody in some way. I thought my Buckylove would never be topped, but this guy gets to me real bad. He's A-MA-ZING. And I can't even go to my Bucky fangirl boards anymore because they dissed my Lukelove. I need to find a Lukas fangirl site. an arkie work of art
There are a few songs up on YouTube. Not enough to satisfy me, but some. There's a song called "Crave Me" that's really good. And I do. Oh yes, I do.

Thanks for the link, Glowie. I loved listening to him sing rather than scream and he's higher in my ranks (though he was in my top 3 & only 3 guys I liked last week). Lukas's style is not for me, but his performance was awesome last week. His behavior around the house has been somewhat souring my opinion of him, as my thoughts were that he was "trying to be the baddie" of the house. So, I have the performance/singer Lukas who is high on my list and the personality/looks Lukas that makes me shudder. For this band, he tops my list along with Dilana at the moment. I can't wait to see how things play out and how tonight's performances go. I'm happy you have someone to lust over this season, Glowie. Unfortunately, I haven't found my JD this season. Probably the closest contestant to JD right now is Dilana. She's scary hot! Toby's not bad, but . . . still, no JD Kind Creation of ARNutz

Thanks for the link, Glow. I agree that Lukas has "A-MA-ZING" stage presence. And it's really the Coldplay thing that I can't imagine Lukas pulling off. BUT, one of the posters on Loree's link just put Lukas in his/her final three so I guess he did a good job of the song.

The one doing the Kinks song - english is not her first language and she over enunciates words and "talks" the song rather than sings it - she is gone....

>Magni – My Generation (The Who) Well, he sure couldn't pull off the Stones. I have no real expectation that he can pull off the Who. >Jenny Galt – Tainted Love (Soft Cell) Meh. Not the hardest song to sing, IMHO. >Jill Giola – Violet (Hole) Hmmmm. I don't know what she'll do with this. But I can understand the fun of trying to do a Courtney. >Zayra Alvarez – You Really Got Me (The Kinks) The Evanescence was okay for me, unlike some of you. I think she might do this okay, too. >Chris Pierson Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand) This should be okay, too, I think. But I still have Marty doing it in my mind. So he better bring it. >Dilana – Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash) I'm fascinated as to her take on this. Of course, she fascinates me anyway. >Josh Logan – With Arms Wide Open (Creed) Ugh. Can't imagine anything I want to hear less. >Phil Ritchie – If You Could Only See (Tonic) As time goes by, I think I'd have dropped him further on my love list. And I'm a little shaky about him now. But I'll give him an opportunity to redeem himself here. >Storm Large – Surrender (Cheap Trick) Love, love, love this song. Ah, my youth! She'll be great. >Patrice Pike – Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana) I'm always trepidacious about people doing Nirvana. It generally doesn't work out very well. I'm braced for more disappointment. >Lukas Rossi – Don’t Panic (Coldplay) Gads! I hate Coldplay almost as much as I hate Creed and Nickelback. Dreck, complete dreck. Hopefully, he can find a way to make it interesting. I suppose if anyone can, Lukas can. >Ryan Star – Jumpin’ Jack Flash (The Rolling Stones) I think he'll pull this off. I hope he does because I kinda like him. >Dana Andrews – Born to Be Wild (Steppenwolf) No f-ing way. >Toby Rand – Somebody Told Me (The Killers) I think he'll be just fine with this. She'll suck. (So will Magni & Zayra, we'll see about Chris) Also can't wait to see Dilana. Love her.

I stopped paying attention to him way before Alter Bridge.Oh jeez. I forgot you didn't watch last year! Last year, they had a separate show of just the goings on in the house. We saw the interactions with the house band (who totally rock). So with that we got to see how they rearranged songs and interacted with the band and a bunch of other VERY telling things. Plus we got to see how they acted with each other. These are very important, I think, if we're supposed to vote for somebody to be a member of a band. A band they have to record with, tour with and whatnot. A band WE'RE supposed to want to support. How the heck do I know who's best for Supernova if I don't know who these people are? You know. That kind of stuff. The on-line *sigh* house stuff this year is about 20 minutes. It's too early to tell if it compares to last years house (mansion) stuff. Oh! I just loaded it to watch later and I saw one part (I couldn't take my eyes off because they were showing Lukas *love*) that we didn't see on the results show. When they told Dilana she got the encore, Lukas seemed kinda put out by it. *adore* an arkie work of art

Well, there's Dilana, but Glow (I think, or is it Knockers) claimed her, and has chained herself to Dilana. I think Storm is hot, and so is Jill. In fact, they all are. Not an ugly one in the bunch. Zayra is just my "type"...dark hair, dark eyes. Unless she kicks it up a notch, though, she'll be gone soon and I'll have to find someone else...probably Storm. She's got the best chance of lasting awhile.

Since no one started an episode thread, I just had to express my opinions (I know you're all shocked).Magni – My Generation (The Who) * Huge improvement over last week and proved that he can actually sing. Jenny Galt – Tainted Love (Soft Cell) * Meh. Jill Giola – Violet (Hole) * Cheap Courtney Love knock-off. Zayra Alvarez – You Really Got Me (The Kinks) * I think she got lost on the way to the Shakira concert. Chris Pierson – Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand) * He's tone-deaf right? That's the only explanation I can think of for anyone being this bad and not knowing it. Dilana – Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash) * Wow. Just wow. Josh Logan – With Arms Wide Open (Creed) * Gak. Phil Ritchie – If You Could Only See (Tonic) * Another sub-standard performance. Storm Large – Surrender (Cheap Trick) * Aw. I'm loving her. Patrice Pike – Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana) * Never been a Nirvana fan but it was funky. Lukas Rossi – Don’t Panic (Coldplay) * (swoon) Ryan Star – Jumpin’ Jack Flash (The Rolling Stones) * No. Just no. And don't EVER do that again. Dana Andrews – Born to Be Wild (Steppenwolf) * Not as bad as I thought it would be. Toby Rand – Somebody Told Me (The Killers) * Groovy. My bottom 3? So hard to pick since most of the performances were so poor. It was like kareoke night at the local pub. But I'd say: Zayra, Chris, and a toss-up between Ryan and Phil. And my crystal ball says Dilana and Lukas will be the final 2. "I don't think witchcraft is a religion." G.W. Bush

I am quickly down to 4 who I think have a chance:Toby Rand - The Aussie can sing, and is charming. I will be interested to see how he goes at writing/arranging Lukas Rossi - I hate hate hate hate Coldplay. And yet I enjoyed his performance tonight. This guy has a lot of talent. Storm Large - Interesting comment tonight about showing character rather than becoming a character. Tell me she wouldn't be fun to party with. And she can sing. Dilana - duh. So far she has done everything right. Song choices through 2 weeks? Excellent. (picking Johnny Cash was a stroke of genius) Song arrangements? Excellent. Performances? Captivating. I find myself excited at the start of the show wondering what Dilana is going to do. There is some limited talent in the others, but nothing special. Let the Pagonging of them begin.

I agree these 4 should be the F4. So unless someone else really steps up in the next few weeks I think this is the F4. With Dilana and Lukas the F2.
