mysticwolf 10692 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 06-24-08, 08:09 PM (EST) "HK Season 4 Episode 13 East Coast Update Thread" Okaaaay! America so loved seeing Jen thrown out of the kitchen that they decided to show it again. Woo Hoo! Now, on to tonight's real fun. Will Pettrozza get so angry that he stuffs one of our DAWs into a pumpkin? Will Christina manage to burn Chef on sequential services? Well, she, along with everyone else, has managed to burn him every other night, so this one is probably a given.) Or, will there even be a service given that the revelry from Jen's ouster is certain to have produced some massive hangovers - at least it did in most HK watching households? We'll find out by 10. The West Coast will find out by midnight - of course, they think it's 10, but those of us in the Eastern time zone know that it's really midnight. "RE: HK Season 4 Episode 13 East Coast Update Thread" Cory says the win is so close she can taste it. Everyone is elated that Jen is gone. Both Christine and Corey agree that no one could have ever predicted that it would come down to the two of them. Chef's going to cook a signature dish for them and some special guests - family members. Hope they pay attention. Once the families are gone they have to recreate the signature dish - and they haven't been told. Petrozza doesn't want to eat. Corey & Petrozza choose buffalo - the Petrozza changes his mind and goes to venison. They choose the same veggies but Christine is certain there's a white bean reduction. She eventually finds white beans way, way, back. They go for a red wine reduction, although Corey is the only one that gets the sauce correct. And, she's the only one that got the cream in the sauce - however she got the meat wrong. Christine went with aioli as a binding agent for the sauce instead - even though her mom repeatedly told her there was cream in it. Guess we know who she got her palate from, eh? Too bad she didn't listen. She was right on the puree and meat, though. Petrozza got the meat right - after changing his mind, but that's about all he got right. If Petrozza had had a puree he would have won. Not recognizing the difference between buffalo & venison took Corey out of it. Christina gets to go sight-seeing and have dinner out with Chef. And, as a surprise, her parents get to go along. Petrozza and Corey get to hand-chop the ice for dinner. Seems that for some reason it's been delivered in block form. Petrozza's a nice, kind, loveable lump - but, he manages to pull off a screamer. Christina fails at first, but finds her inner beyotch for the second try. Corey's too polite. She manages on her second try, too. But, her beyotch throws Chef off the line. Chef keeps telling Petrozza to taste & he doesn't taste anything wrong. Chef has to make him send it back & he can't quit laughing, which doesn't make Chef happy. Scott's now sending the wrong sauce up with a Wellington. She never tastes before she sauces it. She catches it but not until after the whole dish needs to be remade. She's sent back to the line for her failure. Christina's up next. She needs to tell them how long before their dish should be at the pass. Corey's cooking the Wellington perfectly. Scott's getting ticked at her screaming at him - which may be a good thing. She catches her sabotage - mashed potatoes with the wrong seasoning. Good job. Chef is not happy after service.
