14. "RE: Opening montage shots..." |
I know it's bad form to reply to yourself, but I just re-watched the opening montage again and a few more things stood out to me.There is a shot of Jimmy ALSO wearing blue. When they show the 12 contestants very quickly, the last one shown is Elsie, but on the word "one" of "one of these 12...", we see Michael. Most interesting to me is a clip of Elsie in Blue in the kitchen with Gordon telling her "You wouldn't be standing here if I didn't believe in you". Maybe a Michael-Elsie final 2 after all? With Elsie winning? The Jimmy in blue shot confuses me too. Perhaps the noodle challenge next week (or another challenge down the road) is to decide which color the teams will wear from now on. Since there are now two seatings, with the teams in the kitchen at separate times, maybe there is no need for separate kitchens/ colors? Curiouser and curioser. If they don't change colors next week, that means Jimmy and Elsie are definitely safe for one more week, and most likely Andrew or Jessica go home, necessitating a merge at 4-2.
